Clark just called Condoliza a liar! He said her statement was not true. OMG!!!

They keep going back to the Millenium as if the administration tipped off the border guards when it turned out to be a border agent simply doing the job she was paid to do.

FReeper BillF just posted this...
Kristinn, co-leader of DC Chapter, went to the site of hearings and asked me to post this for him: On my lunch hour, I made some copies of the transcript of Clarke's August 2002 background briefing that was released by Fox News today and brought them over to the Hart Senate Office Building where the 9/11 Commission hearings are taking place.
The hearing was in lunch recess so I worked the room trying to get the transcript into the hands of as many reporters as I saw. They were very receptive when I described what it was I had. Only one reporter dismissed it as Clarke 'giving the administration line.' The rest were very interested in it.
I ran into a Fox News producer outside the room. She told me she had a copy and asked who I was with. I told her Free Republic.
I had to leave after that. I went over there figuring the lazy press wouldn't have it yet. That turned out to be true. Wish I could have stayed but I don't get paid to be a FReeper. EAGLES UP !!!
Thank you Kristinn!!!

If I lose, I will lose with my head held high voting FOR my principles, instead of AGAINST something. So be it...and good for you. The media spin is already in full force; the sheeple our going to buy going to this hook, line and sinker. All of this is not good for GWB. WE may know the truth, and have the the intelligence to decifer the truth throughout this circus; but the media will spin and print the same liberal mush as we have heard the last 50 or so years. Rush isnt enough, Hannity isn't enough, Fox isn't enough; that just the way I see it.

Yeah, he was real loyal to the President. MY EYE. How can he say that with a straight face.

It was like a love fest between Kerry & Clarke. Maybe they're going out for dinner after the show.

I was right this guy was forewarned and said precisely what I thought he'd say. He quoted Isikoff -- Statements made in 2002 were to praise his boss-- The people are so quick with their talking points. And we should be just as quick with our counter-talking point: In 2004, Clarke is lying for his publisher's coffers.
To: PISANO
It will be presented in the MEDIA as BUSH told him to say what he did in Aug 2002. No matter who told him to say it, it's true. And, it contradicts his book.
To: MagnoliaB
I'm getting the impression that Clarke is a dupe who has joined up with the less than adequate Kerry campaign with perhaps some promise of the future. Yes. Elsewhere he's been developing the "Iraq as a distraction from AQ" meme - a developing Kerry talking point. Please tell us if he mentions this in his book-selling appearance here.

"IMHO he escapes UNSCATHED, he is winning, we are losing and the SPIN wins again. The MEDIA will discount his Aug 2002 statement as a BUSH mandate, we lost this round folks!"
Might appear that way, however, I disagree. He does not present himself with conviction about anything.
Now the Clintons are not going to be happy letting this guy take the credit for very long for being the "hero".
Think about it he claims that if it had been left up to him he could have save us. What the .ell was he doing over the past 8 + years? Too little too late.

thanks Kristin great work again

There was just a break in the Limbaugh show for news (Local KFI 640 in So CA and on the internet)and it couldn't have been more favorable to Kerry. "Clarke's statements including an appology for the 9/11 tragedy and the lack of action from the Bush Adminstration" This is insane. It is hard for me to understand how Bush's approximatly 50% ratings stand up except that Americans are smarter than the Democrats think. There are more lies going on here than we have seen since JF Kerry appeared before the Fullbright Committee.

The RINOIS on the Commission are so ineffective--it is frightening!
That useful idiot Thompson dropped the ball so badly. He should have read the full Press release rather than go point by point and allow this congenital liar to lie and refute it point by point.
Thompson is past his prime (if he ever had a prime). This is a total joke.
