Thompson hit it out of the park.
Gorelick, et al will now proceed as if the past 10 minutes didn't take place.
Any other Pubs left to question this POS?
To: GOPrincess
I'm opening that Diet Coke now, honestly, POS (!) should be POTUS, I was typing too fast!!!

Precisely. Rummy said yesterday they initially didn't want to swat flies but to exterminate them. Swatting flies wouldn't have solved the problem. (reaching back to the Clinton misadministration lobbing missiles into factories and tents). It didn't solve one damn thing.

I am happy to say that Thompson is a former GOP Governor of Illinois. You mean there is at least one tough Republican on that pathetic excuse for a committee? You have just given me new hope that all isn't lost.

Yes and the word strategy could be a noun or a verb...so we are in the land of Clintonese and "parsing words"...

Oh, goodie: Clarke is now calling Albright AND Berger liars because they BOTH said there was NO PLAN.......and he said NO PLAN in that interview with Jim Angle!

Awesome, awesome re Kristinn's work today.
Clarke seems to be trying the line that that one reporter took, than in 2002 he was just parroting the administration line... "Believe me now."

>I agree, this is going bad. I predict that Kerry will take a 3-5 point lead in the polls that come out this week-end.<
Call me the cock-eyed optimist, but I cannot see how Mr Heinz is going to get that big a boost.

"Let me see if I have this right: Clarke said that things sat on the table between 1998-2000 without action during the Clinton administration, yet Clarke is having a problem with the fact that the Bush Administration, who although was moving forward on the things that had been sitting on the Clinton table, didn't move as fast as he thought they should."
I am not so sure that the Clintons are going to be too happy with Clarke importance in their administration.
Clarke was in charge and kept us safe in Clintons administration, and Bush ignored him, thus America paid the price.
To: Mo1
Borelick set Clarke up nicely for his first answer and slam at Condi.

How Come Thompson's questioning was cut so short? He didn't get as much time as the Dem's on the commission. This sucks!
