You must mean to refer me to post 67, not 77. Your confusion is not surprising.

I've been watching this story since it broke, and am still waiting for the goods on how the U.S. was going after Russians directly, as the original Russian story suggested.

Frankly, the chest-beating and finger-pointing on this thread is foolish, given the flimsy and sensationalist Russian treatment that kicked off the festivities.

It's not a pro-Arab State Dept that dispatches bomb squads to the Middle East. And there's no evidence whatsoever that the Americans did anything directly to finger the Russians. But many don't let facts, most of which are yet absent here, get in the way of a Tom Clancy arm-chair conspiracy. Party on Garth.

No I meant post #77. Where the person posting explains what my post was meant to say.

And that was my point as well. The Seattle Times is a worthless piece of paper.

Thank you for your service to our country. My son-in-law is a captain in the army, and was in Iraq until June 2003. He was attached to 10th SOP's group out of Ft. Carson.

I'm sure you looking forward to coming home. Again, thanks for your service to our country.

So you meant to refer me to a third person's explanation of your explanation??? That is confusing, but since it appears we essentially agree, allow me to apologize for by abruptness. I am but a worm......

Ruskies are planning a swap and both sides are just trying to save face

Upon reading this post of yours, 91B, I was nodding my head and thinking "Yup, SOP."

Soon the bungling Ruskie bombers will be sent home in exchange for a couple of Qatari wrestlers who were picked up in Russia the other day (what a coincidence that they were visiting when they could be arrested and so exchanged).

Bingo. That's the way it's always done. LOL, it's so predictable!

Thank you for your service to our country. Take care!

But the wrestlers were sent home yesterday or the day before, so the swap never happened.

Thank you for your kind words. I should be in the home stretch any day, once our replacements arrive in Qatar we will head back to Kuwait and stay there for a week or so and then back to CONUS.

Thanks-we'll see how this plays out. I like Qatar, but I will be more than happy to get home (should be soon).

We were talking about an entirely different individual. Someone named Mashaal, not Yandarbiyev, read through the exchange again.

Yes. LOL. In case my own post was not clear, and assuming it may not have been since the poster wanted to clarify what I had meant to say.

Worm along with me....
