This links to the previous Terri's threads. In case some have had difficulty finding the Terri's Threads for current news. This will be the updated home for new news and commentary for Terri Schiavo. On March 26, 2004 a contempt of court hearing is slated for Michael Schiavo. The previous hearing was postponed until now for at the request of Michael's attorneys.

Terri needs help from all over, NOW, just as much as she did when she was being starved to death. What is it going to take to get the people and our leaders, etc. to do something about Michael, Felos & Co's blatant breaking of the law by punishing and torturing the Schindlers (including Terri) by cooking up this farce of a story about the needle marks, etc. and then denying them visitation so they can keep with their plans of getting Terri out of the way at the soonest possible time by criminal neglect, etc? Michael, Felos, Bushnell's, etc. only intent is to kill Terri, what is not registering? State and Federal laws are being broken yet our leaders just sit idly by while this happens! It is frustrating to the highest degree! The Health Administration wrote one complainent and said that Hospice of Florida Suncoast is not breaking any laws, etc. and Jeb Bush's name is on the top of the letter. They are participating in criminal neglect! It's Easter yet Terri is denied visitation of her loved ones and priest, etc. this is the most heinous of crimes. Happy Easter. I hope more people take this seriously and start getting more involved and taking more and more actions ASAP. I am losing hope in our leaders but still want to believe that they will do something ASAP. If we all do something to get their attention (by getting them the information of what is happening) and get it in the media, etc. perhaps they will be forced to act.

Also it makes me wonder with all the resources and people of all backgrounds on FreeRepublic why it is so hard for people to be taking massive actions right now to get the people and our leaders stirred up enough to put a stop to what Michae/Felos/Bushnell, etc. are doing to Terri.

Juan, I think folks who are well meaning believe that Terri was saved from death. That's true but she's not been RESCUED from neglect, isolation and sub-standard care. Do we need to make a massive ping list based upon anyone who posted in favor of Terri on some Terri threads and then people can opt out if they don't want to help?

It's not difficult to make calls, do emails and letters but the bureacrats who serve at our discretion need to hear from more than a handful of supporters.

TERRI IS SUFFERING RIGHT NOW NOT TO MENTION THE SUFFERING OF HER PARENTS, SIBLINGS, ACQUAINTANCES. Maybe we need to find a really graphic BEDSORE jpeg and WARN people and do a hyperlink to a BEDSORE.

BEDSORES are not like a little scratch. THEY ARE NASTY and can lead to gangrene and massive infection.

And regarding Terri's teeth, if they aren't bothering to brush her teeth and she gets gum disease, that can cause a massive infection straight to the heart. HER TEETH WERE MISSING. They are still trying to kill her.

We needs everyone's help. HAVE A RALLY IN YOUR TOWN, whether you're in Florida or not. Make signs that say "WWW.TERRISFIGHT.ORG and "FREE TERRI". This is a UNITED STATES problem, not just a Florida one. HELP US BOOST TERRI'S NAME RECOGNITION and help us get folks to visit her web site. CONTACT THE BELTWAY AND THE NATIONAL MEDIA. We cannot count on bureaucrats to read our minds because they are sidetracked and we MUST PROD THEM because their memory spans are short-lived. FV

The family has been silenced by their counsel. I think that is an error because they made points with a national and worldwide audience when they were on tv last year. They are told not to gather-associate too closely with Terri's supporters or to be on camera. So, on tv you only see FELOS or Terri's supporters with our signs or being interviewed. I don't know what's going on but they've lost their free speech rights through intimidation imo.

As soon as they don't think that we STILL CARE, they will allow the neglect and abuse of Terri and the emotional abuse and intimidation of Terri's parents and siblings. IT IS DESPICABLE. The rain is falling this evening. It is always raining for the Schindlers. WHY? Love is supposed to bring good, not evil. IS EVIL GOING TO WIN? We must begin again.

I think you are right. I don't think it is a good idea for the family to keep quiet if they want to get people involved in Terri's story.

I can't believe nobody's checking this thread.

I'm so sorry, FV! Got busy with Easter preparations and such! I've only checked threads if someone's pinged me to them.

To those who I'm pinging, we need to all get more people back on track here to help out again. Please ping anyone you know who has a ping list for Terri, or make your own list. We need to start getting on the hot button again with the state legislators so that Terri can again have VISITORS!

I have to admit that I've had some horrible thoughts lately, that Terri is again on her deathbed only this time there is no attention because no one but Michael knows what her true condition is. I have this awful feeling that we'll find out Terri's gone after the fact. I pray that my uneasiness is just worries coming after me and that Terri is okay. However, she is constantly in harm's way as long as she is under sole guardianship of Michael! Please read the latest posts from FV and others.

by Attorney Tragos regarding visitation. I'll post
her response when received.

We gathered together at the Suncoast Florida Hospice Administrative Building on East Bay Drive on 4/10 to again express our disapproval of what we feel is abuse and neglect of Terri Schiavo.

Terri has been without the visitation of her parents for almost 2 weeks now. I have been told by the Schindler's attorney Pat Anderson that all visitation has been "suspended until further notice, per Deborah Bushnell", Michael Schiavo's attorney.

We all feel that this is retaliation of Michael Schiavo against the Schindler's for the recent contempt of court charges he has been brought up on as a result of his not following Judge Pennick's 1996 orders to disclose any medical changes to the Schindler's related to Terri's condition. We also feel Schiavo's orders to remove all visitation from Terri's parent's was in response to the recent concerns Terri's parents had openly conveyed about her having a decubitus sore, 2 missing teeth and her unkempt appearance.

The demonstration at Suncoast was peaceful and friendly. Hospice of Florida Suncoast did call the local police to have them request we move our vehicles out of their parking lot. A lot that was 3/4th's empty.

Our demonstration did bring the attention of passerby's stopping to inquire what has happened to Terri. People wanted to know how the elderly and other disabled folks might be affected by laws which would remove their right to live and potentially cause them to die from dehydration and starvation.

We will continue to organize demonstrations at various locations throughout Pinellas County to protest this cruel and criminal action taken upon the Schindler's and Terri by Michael Schiavo and his attorney's.

FV, thanks for everything you're doing.
I'm wondering if some people went to the Plnellas courthouse and handed out brochures on Terri's true condition, if that would help too.
Also, is there nothing the new attorney can do?
