Tammy Faye diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Tammy Faye Messner, the former wife of televangelist Jim Bakker, announced Thursday night she has inoperable lung cancer.

Messner, a guest on CNN's "Larry King Live," said she was told of the diagnosis two weeks ago.

She just finished a stint on the WB reality show "Surreal Life". The premise is built around forcing a diverse group of has beens and near celebrities to share a home for a period of time. Tammy was paired with porn actor Ron Jeremy, CHiPS star Erik Estrada, rapper Vanilla Ice, "actress" Traci Bingham and some drunken girl from MTV.

Tammy Faye and Ron Jeremy actually got along quite well. Along with Estrada, they cane across as decent enough human beings.

The younger cast members were a pathetic collection of self absorbed whiners.

My son watches TBN 24/7 for a good laugh at some shows, theology and good music in other shows.

TBN Praise the Lord has their version of a Tammy Faye the Pink/Blonde wig Granny with the Faye Eye Make Up.

My son went through a time where he only enjoyed bouncing booby sex movies so I do not complain about his now wathching TBN around the clock.

I'm beliving for a miracle. God will heal Tammy as HE healed Jane Crough from cancer. God is no respector of person what HE did for Jane HE can do it for Tammy Faye.

She was just in a reality show and Ron Jeremy was her housemate and they got along really well.

Tammy may be like Peter denying Christ three times before the Rooster crows.

Her addiction was living lavishly.

She has had ample opertunity to allow Christ to work through her.

I think we are all guilty of allowing our human wants overide God's plan some are just more obvious.

Didn't like what she did but pray will be right with the Lord when her time comes.

Yes, that lady in TBN, with long hair and funny make up, is Jane Crough, who GOD healed her from cancer. Praise the Lord. I once judged her for her looks until the LORD rebuked me and I had to repent and I saw behond the hair and make up. Jane is a beautiful women inside, if I can only be like her, whom GOD use for his glory......"God choses the foolish thing to confine the wise".

My sister worked for the Bakers in the gift shop at Heritage USA. She had seen Tammy Faye give her $5000 mink coat to another woman.
