Cheney summarized, like an astute observer positioned from the perfect lookout and observing the scenes unfolding below, the accounts past and present, and the venue of the war on terror fabulously. I was so proud to hear him so superbly elucidate on this subject, and the importance of it to the American people. He also outlined the differences between his Administration and John F’ing Kerry. Excellent. Thank you so much, Vice President Cheney. You words came at the right time, I hope America was listening. At this time, the night seems to have fallen deep, and so the gleam of the path may seem lost. But not for us. We know the path, we know it isn’t going to be easy. We know, thanks to leadership such as you Mr. Vice President, that we are going to do anything, whatever it takes, to win this war.

Here's a little tangent: Just had a wacked conversation with a coworker. I had to walk away when he said Cheney is controlled by the "Israeli Empire". I had often wondered if this particular person was Arabic/Islamic, I guess now I know...

He kept referring to our citizens as having a "simple understanding" of the issues, or something similar. Basically, that we are simple-minded and un-nuanced (sounds French, eh?). I wanted to deck him, but I'd rather not get fired or arrested. I feel like I need a shower...

Think the Repubs want to position themselves for 2008 and that means particular Senators voting. I believe it is rare where a Vice President is ELECTED to the Presidency.
