Miller is so much better than H&C. Now that he has an audience he has his edge back. He's in the libs' faces evey night, and the show isn't 100% politics and celebrity crime, so he keeps it fresh. I'm really enjoying it. I hope the show survives.

Dennis Miller has some good zingers at Kerry. Someone on his program said Kerry wanted to visit Iraq so when he was president, he could hit the ground running. Miller, quick as a flash, said "yeah, running away from Iraq is my guess". Miller is a great friend of Bush and funny too.

I noticed the burning fires and our troops in the background and it only added more power to Cheney's words as he spoke. (IF THAT IS POSSIBLE!!!) I had the phone up to the tv as my sister drove in the car listening and laughing. WAAAAHOOOOO!!!!
To: mitchbert
part of the Bush/Cheney strategy is to gradually diminish Kerry by rediculing him. Basically a "Is this guy for real?" approach. If so, given Kerry's ability to say truly idiotic things regularly, it could work famously.i AGREE, they are painting him as a cute little pansey who is in over his head.
To: Cboldt
Even Chris Matthews will cover it unless he goes all Baghdad bombing.

"The other bombings were played down."By the media.
Because their hero, Slick Willie, dealt with them so ineffectually.

BUMP. Unyielding and determined. Impressive, and just what was expected and is needed.
Cheney is Dubya's trump card. The man projects a steadying, calm presence that is a reassuring contrast to the Euros, the Bidens and Qerry.

I'm so glad Bush was "wise" and picked a few of the "wisest men" in our midst.President Bush is comfortable in his own skin. He, like any good CEO surrounds himself with the best people he can find. Clinton was the antithesis of this, and his adm. consisted of acolytes, yes men, and weaklings.
To: StarFan
Wonder if Pres Bush could outsource his part of the debate to Cheney. Heck, Cheney could take on Baron Munchausen and his veep simultaneously with a good sized handicap and whip them good.

The neat thing is that Kerry's going on a week's vacation. He'll have to interrupt his planned vacation if he's going to rebutt these statements by the VP. In one speech, Cheney's managed to ruin Kerry's vacation plans. Hee hee hee!
