Looks like the Chechens handle the socialist states, and the Saudis handle the rest. I guess the Chechens will be handling Spain from here out.

France won't be able to surrender fast enough if there is some kind of terrorist act. I see them reversing the whole burka ban...and for that, I think they'll get what they deserve.

I thought France was insulated from terror attacks because they were against the War in Iraq. That's certaily what the appeasers would like us to believe. How's JF'nK gonna explain this?
To: hershey
The French will probably try to go through the UN on this first, meanwhile blaming us for everything but the last ice age.Right -- they blame so-called global warming on us. If Kerry wins, I may have to consider suicide. I'd leave the country, but frankly, there's no other place to go.

LOL!....it's okay -- I'm sure a good 100 million or so had the same reaction.
The French are such jokes.

Silly France, the terrorists only want blood, even if it has to be over headscarves. The terrorists are willing to kill hundreds (or more) over headscarves ... you'd think that would wake up some people, wouldn't you? But no, the leftists still cling to the idea of appeasement. Dopes.

Did you see on the news tonight that finally the feds are beefing up Arizona's southern border? Just watched O'Reilly talking to Kenneth Timmerman whose book, 'The French Betrayal of America', deals with France's illegal contracts with Hussein...half a trillion dollars worth...also Russian illegal oil deals. Unspeakable. In the end, you wonder if we'll care if France gets targeted by terrorists big time. We'll denounce such violence publicly, but I wonder how much real help we'll offer. O'Reilly thinks we should have a summit, get Nato involved. Yawn.

"It would occur to me that you have some degree of confidence that the islamists won't try a spainish style pre-election operation on our turf."
They don't want us, crazy armed Americans, to do an islamic pre-election operation on the Muslim population in the US, do they?
You know an 'even out the voting levels' kind of thing. Much, much safer for them to do their tricks with unarmed people.
As violent and crazy as we are, according to the AP & Reuters, they would certainly end up mixed into our mulch piles ready to be spread out on the new tomatoe plants if they pulled a Madrid act here.

we both know that the US will come to their aid no matter what.Do we really know that?

O'Reilly thinks we should have a summit, get Nato involved.I think NATO's days are numbered, and if they're not, they should be. It's time for the U.S. to create new alliances -- we've seen how well most of our "allies" have supported us when we needed it.

Haven't you heard about the "compasion" in the White House lately? Yes, we would be there to assist them. Unfortunately we would pay the bills for reconstruction too.

Right you are! The nations, who belong to NATO,are no longer the ones who support us and we aren't fighting the same enemy, that NATO was formed to fight.

I'm not sure we would be over there to assist them. We left a lot of young men and women over there during the last century. I'm not sure I'd support doing that again.
To: areafiftyone
G*d forgive me for saying this but give them a quarter and have them call someone who cares....Spain.

History is of no consequence to our politicians. It isn't taught in Congress nor the State Department.

Europe is too important to be left to the Europeans. The U.S. will have to divert intelligence and resources from fighting terrorism to persuading Europe that it ought to prefer the common defense of our Atlantic civilization to the trivial pursuit of annoying Uncle Sam."
This attitude is Spains assurance that we will be there to tell them how to secure their country from terrorists.

Hmmmmm. I don't think they care about their own. They seem to enjoy death. Guess it's always a good idea to buy lots of ammo.
