WASHINGTON (CNN) -- This week's deadly train bombings in Spain will not lead to a rise in the U.S. color-coded terror threat alert system, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman said Friday.
"Based on the current intelligence, we have no specific indicators that terrorist groups are considering such an attack in the U.S. in the near term," said department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse.

I thought we were all soul mates here?!
Afterall, this thread goes 24 hours a day because the souls, hearts and minds are working together (except for EVIL lurkers -- and most of the lurkers ARE NOT EVIL I might quickly point out).
That was a great post.

"It was really strange. The snack bar was open. The ticket window was open - the fellow seemed a bit tense. I can't resist, it sounds a lot like a Stephen King novel. Very surreal.
Sorry ;-(
We're just all so glad you made it through there safely. And hopefully it wasn't anything like a test. Thankfully it seems like the Feds and police were on it with an abundance of caution. I'm sure they are on high alert.

Well, here is one of the "unattended boat" stories; still searching for more. This one does not seem to be terrorist related.

Be more fun if they were doing the chasing;)

With the gasoline gone, I suppose.

Welp, think I'll join you in that steak. LOL. Might even have a smoke, drink a few beers and chase some cowboys. :) OK, after reading that post by jerseygirl, if I didn't realize it before, I do now: It's later than we think.

Did it make your hair stand straight up? Mine looked like I'd stuck my finger in an electric socket!

You made my eyes water, too. Your soulmate is out there, somewhere. It will happen.
I admire you tremendously for what you are doing. It has to be pretty tough.
Bless you and yours.
To: Letitring
Yep, it sure did. More than just about anything I've read, even in these threads.
To: jerseygirl
Okay, this is odd. I searched Seattle PI newspaper, Bellingham and Bremerton newspapers and only came up with that one story. The Seattle Times won't let me search unless I register, which I won't do (sorry!). Did they have any more clues where you first read about the unattended boats? I'm assuming Puget Sound, but the Sound is pretty big, any idea as to location?

jerseygirl after reading your post I was astonished that someone with any intelligence would post this on the net, so I had to do some research. This is what I came up with:
First I looked to see if there was an image or picture of this Dr. Lewis Zimmerman. This is what I came up with:
Second I did a web search on the name Dr. Lewis Zimmerman and came up with this: StarTrek.com:Biography
Dr. Lewis Zimmerman
Starfleet engineer who developed the Emergency Medical Hologram (EMH), in association with Reginald Barclay. This version of the EMH was installed in U.S.S. Voyager and the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E. By 2373 Zimmerman was Director of Holographic imaging and Programming at Jupiter Station and was working on a Longterm Medical Holographic program.
Third I search for Global Wire News: results = nada
Fourth search for the source of the article: result = sciscoop.com SciScoop || Comments Axis-of-Evil Offshore Nuclear Blast Could ...

Where ya been? Anything new on the Yahoo groups. Has Daleel kept his word?I am visiting family in New Hampshire this week. Spent some time in Portsmouth yesterday - the libs really seem to be taking over that town. Toured Boston this morning, I was impressed with all of the flags decorating the overpasses up and down I-93/I-95. The rats in the metro-Portland area frown on that kind of 'blind patriotism'. Might not hear much from me until Tuesday.
