The ETA locally manufactures its explosives, and the Spanish gov says initial results indicate the stuff used this morning is consistant with ETA explosives.

Now we have a tape in Arabic found with some detonators. An indication that ETA has joined AQ? Looky like it...

After the end of February º you will be on the receiving end of Al Qaeda

And it will appear that the attack will be a surprise and without previous warning.
The first preemtive attack will be outside of America

America digs its grave from the north; Osama has sworn this in a solumn oath

The images that accompany this message are one of Osama sitting at a desk, two of the WTC in flames,
one of a flyover of NYC, and one of Osama over a blackboard.
The text on the blackboard says
basically that the dates on the message are not correct and the unexpected should be expected;
what is here is there and what is there is here.

My interpretation is that the attack will be before the end
of February and will probably not be outside the US. I suspect CA or Hawaii, but most likely something
from the south, not the north. I may be completely wrong on this - but that's my take on the message.

Please read this in conjunction with the message in the same forum regarding the 100 staircases for
100 militants who will need them in the coming three days. Basically - I'm interpreting this to be something within the next 72 hours.

This would be consistent with the release of the Zawahiri tape today. Historically Zawahiri tapes have preceded an attack on a civilian target by 1-3 days. The list below isn't complete but I think there's enough to discern a pattern. I am still looking for some dates to fill in - i.e. Mombasa.

I also think that there is substantial reason here to believe that something major was averted in December.
Notice all the shoulder taps from Bin Laden and Company but no major attacks.

When did that story appear? It refers to last night -- but was it last night 3/10/04?

N.Ireland - Storm over US official at Sinn Fein conference

Ulster Television, Belfast ^ | 2 October 2001 | Reporter

A senior US government official's appearance at the Sinn Fein annual conference cannot be justified given President Bush's war on terrorism, it has been claimed.

Stormont Enterprise Minister Sir Reg Empey called into question the decision by American Ambassador to Dublin, Richard Egan to attend the weekend Ard Fheis.

He said: "It amazes me, to be perfectly honest, how the diplomat concerned is going to be able to square that with the President`s onslaught on international terrorism."

Mr Egan was among the Dublin audience for Sinn Fein President Gerry Adam`s keynote address on Saturday.

Representatives from the Basque separatist group ETA`s political wing, the Batasuna Party, the Palestinian authority`s representative in Ireland and an ANC MP also attended the two-day event.

Bush to order Sinn Fein terror link inquiry

Irish Independent ^ | Sunday October 7th 2001 | KEVIN MOORE and ALAN MURRAY

THE US ambassador, Richard Egan, is conducting an urgent review of American policy towards Irish republicanism, the Sunday Independent has learned exclusively.

This comes as sources in the North have indicated that they believe for the first time the IRA is close to moving on decommissioning.

Meanwhile, at least 4,000 marchers brought Dublin city-centre traffic to a standstill yesterday in one of the biggest republican marches in years, held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the hunger strikes.

Ambassador Egan's review helps explain what appeared to be an extraordinary decision on his part to make an official visit to Sinn Féin's Ard-Fheis last weekend in the wake of the US atrocities and evidence of Provisional links to Colombian terrorists.

It is understood his review will include recommendations on whether Sinn Féin/ IRA should be allowed to continue to raise funds in America and whether republicans such as Gerry Adams should continue to get US visas without arms decommissioning.

Last weekend's Sinn Féin Ard-Fheis heard motions condemning globalisation and US activities in Colombia. There were calls for the lifting of the American embargo on Cuba, backing for Puerto Rican "freedom" from the US, support for Basque separatists and the PLO, and condemnation of Israel.

"AL QAEDA CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY"

Great now Bush has infiltrated Al Qaida and convinced them to continue the war on terror so he will get re-elected. That Bush is a whily guy... and clever to boot.

AL QUDS PAPER: AL QAEDA LETTER CLAIMS SPAIN BOMBINGS

It's still George Bush's fault. If he hadn't started that War for Oil in Iraq, Spain wouldn't have been forced to join us.

(Expect Reuters to run a story incorporating that theme before noon tomorrow.)

Until the world declares war on militant Islam, more of these attacks will be coming. Terrorism needs to be targeted, sure, but the root of it must be as well. As long as this is not targeted, it won't matter how many terrorists are killed or captured.

And the world must have a unified policy condeming with the same harsh words terror that happens in Europe or in Israel. They wish the terrorists are caught when they bomb their own countries, but when it happens in Israel, they call for the end of the "cycle of violence."

The world must also remember that Al Queda is not the only terror group that must be destroyed. There are many other ones. Victory against the ideology of militant Islam must be achieved as well.

The ETA is like any other group that has resorted to terror, they have and will work with other terrorist groups if it suites their interests. The IRA has ties to Latin American terror and crime organizations, and ties to Middle Eastern groups via South America, despite having a longstanding funding pipeline from the US. The ETA has similar contacts that cross international and continental borders.

The ETA are Marxist thugs, whether they murder 1 person or 190 at a time. No honor among thieves.

What is disturbing about this is that there appears to have been no warning of this attack. AQ can still function in staelth mode.

Actually it is most likely a combination ETA-Al Q attack, or rather a combination of terrorists, mercenaries, and organizational matters between groups/individuals affiliated with the two terrorist groups.

Actually, I think this is very telling. To me, it is saying that the AQ terrorist organization has been so decimated (by Bush's going after them) that they HAVE TO join with other inter-country terrorist organizations.

There numbers are running out...they are getting very desperate...similar to the PLA terrorists organizations having to use young children as suicide bombers.

I do know that Basques are blonde-- Aryans in the midst of the sallow French.

Aryan and Iran come from the same root word meaning noble. Iran means the land of the Aryans, and I have never met a blond Iranian.

The Americans that I have met of Basque origin all have black hair and very light skin. But I have only met about half a dozen, so perhaps your experience is different from mine.

On the other hand, I have never read anything that connects the Basque to the Aryans who are Indo-European. The Basque speak a language unrelated to any of the other Indo-European languages like English, German, Russian, Spanish, Farsi (Persian spoken in Iran), or Hindi (one of the 300 languages spoken in India).

Agree completely and it's disgustingly predictable that the European left (and some on the right) is bending backwards to avoid pinning it on Arabs. The next rumor around Paris will of course be that the whole thing was a Mossad operation. If you think I'm kidding, just wait.
