Crawford, Texas - President Bush and Mexican President Vicente Fox joined forces Saturday to promote Bush's plan for easing immigration laws, as Bush acknowledged that the proposal faces a tough time in Congress.
Standing side-by-side in bright sunshine at Bush's Texas ranch, the two leaders said Bush's plan for a new temporary worker program would help both countries by eliminating the underground market for Mexican workers. The proposal would let an estimated 8 million workers who are in the United States illegally gain legal status as guest workers.
"The people who come to this country make a significant contribution to the American economy," Fox told reporters.
Bush's plan, announced in January, has raised expectations in Mexico and among illegal workers in this country, but it has little chance of passing Congress this year. Republican critics say the proposal would reward illegal immigrants; Democrats complain that it does not do enough to help foreign workers become U.S. citizens.

Because we can't. That is precisely the point. The accord with Fox will (most likely) include that the Mexicans know that they are who they are. HUH? Remember that the people that bring you Fresh fruit and Almonds and lettuce and all of other things can not be replaced, not at this time.
LOL! F the freaking rabbit food. You think this is what this invasion of millions is all about?
Sheesh, let me guess, your another Republican konservative right?

"Let's see. You responded to a disagreement I had with another poster, who implied Bush should not be re-elected..by arguing with ME...NOT the other poster.
Was this supposed to tell me that you agreed with me on Bush being re-elected?"
Is this what "guilt by association" means? (And I thought I lived in the good ol' USA -- not China.)

GWB knows what the citizens want, he just doesn't care. GWB is a man of conviction. He doesn't rule by the polls like Clinton did.
In any case I don't believe for one minute that Bush would be re-elected if he ordered mass deportations of 10 million illegals immigrants.
That's insane.

You need them, get over it. Concentrate on your opponents that wear pajamas and AK47's.
The rest of them feed your family.

That's right, how many Hispanics are legal? Let's get one thing straight. Just about everybody on this thread doesn't give a rat's fart about what you call "legal" Hispanics. They're Americans, period. Not hyphenated-Americans, just Americans. Nobody gives a sh!t where their ancestors originated.
However, if they happen to be illegal aliens sucking off that big, shapely tax payer tit...

He won't. We need them. But only to be selected well. There are a lot of folk that will kill us. Separation is the key.
Who feeds and who kills us.

If your going to toss numbers around about the general population, then you are not talking only about the illegals... get a clue. Hispanic-American, just like the Irish, just like the Scotts, just like the Germans, and you are not even a little clever with the quotes around "legal" not even a little bit with your 3rd grade sassy little style.

The proposal would let an estimated 8 million workers who are in the United States illegally gain legal status as guest workers. Wonder how the "it's not amnesty" folks will deal with this little factoid.
President Bush is dead wrong on this issue. I hope the Republicans in Congress have the guts enough to oppose him.

So you're telling me that Bush should order the mass deportation of 10 million illegals and expect to be re-elected in November. No, I'm not telling you that. Because Bush, like the previous administration and the one before that, want these people here! It is about New World Order = World System = Globalism! And Globalism requires a "world" price of labor. Think of it in that context and it's not too hard to see where they're going. You may not like it, but that's the way it is.

The rest of them feed your family Gee, do any of the following feed my family? Illegal aliens at the auto body shop? At the car wash? On the construction sites? Do illegal alien gardeners feed my family? How about the illegal alien tile guys and cement guys? The nannies? Should I mention more?
Gosh no, these illegal aliens aren't feeding my family, they're taking American jobs by working for peanuts, and they're sucking our social services, schools and medical systems dry. I don't call that feeding my family.
