Hmmm... good point. AND it had subtitles for all the elvish, ergo a foreign language film to boot.

Someone set up us the bomb! We was robbed!

New Line Cinema is an American production company. Hence not eligible for foreign film.

No. The Passion should qualify for Best Picture.

I haven't seen it yet, but I am planning on it.

Even if it does deserve the Best Picture nod, it wouldn't surprise me if Hollyweird plays games with the nominating process in order to keep it out of the running.

I enjoyed it so much I've even ordered the dvd.

Thanks for the recommendation.

(Of course, I've already blown my DVD budget for March, but April's coming) :)

Well, I'm donning mulitple layers of armor plate and asbestos but in a given movie where she's:

1) Cleaned up, and not deliberately trying to look ugly

2) Not spouting Leftist political nonsense

I've always thought Janine Garafolo was really cute.

Ben-Hur 11

West Side Story 10

Gigi 9

"Gigli" won 9 Oscars? Did I miss something? I didn't even know it was nominated.

Caught your tagline. Farscape returning? When? Where? On Sci-Fi?

I know a feature film is in the works but is the series coming back?
