Its a good one, Scarlet Johanson is also in it. If you want a real funny, well acted, original film, go out and get Pieces of April, very small independent flick, but so well written and acted, and Patricia Clarkson is fantastic.

I just did a search on her filmography. She's done a bunch of other movies...bit parts. But the first movie I remember her being in was called Rabbit Test made in 1978 and Billy Crystal was in it with her.

"Is that Phil Collins and Don Knotts?"

That's Phil Collins, but I think the other one is Roger Ebert.

According to USA Today, every celeb who's kind enough to put up with the painful inconvenience of sharing themselves with the world as a presenter or a performer during the awards show will receive a hefty gift bag filled with goodies worth a sweet $110,000

Linda Vester of FNC had a great idea the other day. She suggested that those that get a gift bag donate it to a fallen soldier's next-of-kin.

Patricia Clarkson is really a fantastic actress. She is finally getting some notice by the bigwigs. She's been pretty much Indie up to now.

She goes back to the Ed Sullivan days.

I believe she got her start on the Carson show in the mid 60s.

Actually, in the early 80s, I took my mom (who was a fan) to see her standup act in Columbus, Ohio at the Palace. She put on a good, funny show. She's still hanging in there, I'll give her that. But she has a habit of crossing the line between humor and VERY bad taste.

I know he had a malignant cancer operation having to do with his throat but I can't remember the details. He talks differently now, too, as a result.

Maybe Depp had a hard time in show biz until he got the film parts he wanted. If he got screwed over a few times, he'd have a warped view of American life...his, anyway. Hitchcock said actors are cattle, so Depp's just mooing. So are Penn, Robbins, and Sarandon, to name a few others.

Won't happen. The "elite" "need" to be compensated for their hard-earned time. (/sarcasm)

That would be cool!
