Pardon my ignorance, but is best screenplay how well you took a book and put it into film?

Ok, the fix is in tonight. Rack 'em up. No doubt.
The French song was much better.

Ok, the fix is in tonight. Yup.
(I will seek out that "Triplets of Belleville" though - looks pretty cool).

Heck, I knew that Jack Black could "sing" but I only just now learned that John Kerry served in Vietnam.
I don't know for which side yet though. I'll keep you posted.

Me, too,
To: icwhatudo
Yes, that would be for an adapted screenplay...

Actually, I thought that Mr. Woods's impersonation was quite impressive, and that means a lot coming from me... Impressive Cinderella story, came out of nowhere....

Yes.... Adapted screenplay awards the adaptation of a book to film.
There is also an award for original screenplay.
To: RichInOC
Yes, it was necessary. It was funny.

This whole thread is a waste of bandwidth that I help pay for with a monthly donation. This whole thread is about celebrating a degeneracy that threatens the survival of our nation.
There was an old guy on our street that used to throw wormy green apples at the kids on Halloween and yell at them. This really take me back to the old days.
To: icwhatudo
Adapted screenplay is turning a play or book into a film, original is written for a film originally.

YOWSER!....What a monster!

Hmmm... I hadn't heard of Jack Black until "Jay and Silent Bob..." and then only because my students at the time couldn't believe I hadn't seen it. Still haven't seen it, but that's all I know about him.

I think I heard something about Kerry in Vietnam. He was responsible for carrying the Heinz ketchup from the supply boat to the camp. Apparently he dropped one of the bottles on a grenade and killed half his unit.
To: eddie willers
LOL! I think she looks terrible.
