Ian Fleming invented the character in the 1950s. I think a lot of the Bond women had similar double entendre names in the books.

I believe so. Regardless of whether she wins tonight, people should check out Ghost World.

Funniest joke in any film, ever:
Clouseau: Does your dog bite?
Man: No.
Clouseau pets dog, gets bit.
Clouseau: I thought you said your dog doesn't bite.
Man: That's not my dog.

I am not sure about Uma's dress, but why is Janeane Garafolo behind her in a white mini-trench coat and Mary Janes?

People need to lighten up and not be so hypersensitive (or turn the dial if this show bothers them so much)... This tired old argument is just inane.
I can let any manner of crap exist all about me. I can click the channel or close my eyes.
It's not just about television either

God, this show is boring. Where is Mel Gibson? He's the only one I really care about seeing anyway. Although I liked The Lord of the Rings, I loved Seabiscuit and Master & Commander and know they will lose Best Picture to LOTR. Jim Carrey was just plain stupid, Billy Crystal is off, it's a horrible night. I was glad to see Rene Zellwegger win her category, the only good moment for me.
Think I'll go finish watching Braveheart on USA network even though I have the DVD.

Jim Carrey - JokeHe blasphemes the memory of Peter Sellers.
I agree.
Robin Williams can't hold a torch to Jonathan Winters' scripted and improvised comedy but who gets all the attention today?

I am going to get flamed for this comment....but Susan Sarandon is one beautiful woman. Don't forget the kitty litter syndrome. Things look ok on the surface...
To: Trinity_Tx
The full dress looked great. She made an excellent choice.
