Ok. Letter to editor, follow up with phone call to senator, or maybe fax? As letters are printed, they could be posted here.

Good ideas, because no matter who wins this election we have to be prepared to fight against what both parties are prepared to sink us into.

These elements in both political parties must be defeated if we are to remain free. I do know that unless congressmen and senators on both sides of the asile feel a threat to their political careers, they will not find the back bone to stand up against the globalist agenda. The globalist number may be few, but they are tremendously powerful and determined.

We have to be just as determined to wrench our sovereignty from their ambitions.

Faxes are also an effective communicator with DC. Myself, I prefer the phone unless there is numbers that need to be relayed.

It's easy to understand tpaine by his name sakes, "common sense" essay regarding the status of men. According to Thomas Paine the only distinctions between humans should be natures distinction, man and woman. Economics and Royal title should not separate them. Which is one silly little communist view of man's equality, in my opinion.

Could you revise & extend your 'silly little communist' remark, Ms Pie? Are you the commie or are you claiming Old Tom was one?

I have a better idea, why don't you tell us how elevating a mere mortal to the status of global King, which is the natural consequence of global Free Trade governance,

Why should I "tell" you anything like that, seeing you made it up?

and knowing that such a global dictator is waiting at the end of the misnamed Free Trade road, makes you a fan of Thomas Paine who hated the idea of royalty, Kingship, dictatorship, to the point that he blamed all of mankinds ills on it?

That's one of the oddest comments anyone has ever made to me.. Baffling.

Or are you naive enough to believe that the natural progression of one world global governance will not end in a one world dictator, even though the best warnings of prophecy in the Bible foretell both the coming of globalism and of this coming dictator over it?

Should I be? Are on the same forum?

What is it about the FTAA treaties forsaking Constitutional government and national sovereignty in favor of Euro/international law and melting nations into trade zones appeals to you? Have you even given it a thought? That you don't count the cost too high to make a buck really reeks.

Reeks of what? I haven't a clue what you are ranting about. -- You need help in addressing anything I've written on this thread.

RE: political action nowadays

I'll say it again.

I come from an era when politicians were SOBs but they were our SOBs.

Now of course most are just SOBs.

Which reminds me of when seniors chased Dan Rostenkowski through the streets of Chicago. He barely made to his government limo. That scared the hell out of the chairman of Ways and Means and the rest of Congress. The seniors got that law repealed immediately.

Which further reminds me, by now it's likely "deadly force authorized" to approach an elected official outside a scheduled event.

Every two-hundred-year-old nation is entitled to at least one patriot-dictator. A Man on Horseback. Another George Washington. Whoever you are out there, get on the damn horse!

Whomever should step up to accept this challege, may I suggest that you "Trust, but Verify" the persons true intentions.

We seem to have spawned a large tribe that is well known to Judas in todays society.

Be careful whom you choose to be your leader.

Yeah, I thought giving TP a kick in the shin would get you going. You have read the claims of this article, do you think these people of influence do not have the ability to see their zany ideas to fruition?

Have you noticed a border or respect for our sovereignty from either political party, or have you seen just the opposite? Forget the side issues of Democrats wanting the votes, and Republicans wanting the cheap labor and see past that to the entire picture.

Vicente Fox has said flat out that Mexico, the USofA, and Canada will unite under one economic umbrella with salaries meeting somewhere between slave wages and U.S. wages.

It's not hard to catch on to what's up, just listen, to quote Bush, "I would like to see a Free Trade Zone from the north of Canada to the tip of Cape Horn", of course the pesky little details of what that involves he remains silent on. The Supreme Court did not use the Constitution to over turn Texas Sodomy laws, it used European Law, and have frankly admitted their plans to do more of that in the future.

What do you think about all that? Simple question.

"All that"?
I think you are imagining that you've asked a 'simple' question..

You need to calm down & get some rest.. Call me in the morning when you feel better. Perhaps then can formulate a logical post.

he deceived us. That's not honorable or compassionate in my eyes. That's a political sell-out, and there's no recovery

I agree. The mindset is exposed and frankly, sadly, he can no longer be trusted...flame away.

So, who do we vote for in 04?

Stay home or nothing will change. Don't believe the scare tactics. They need you more than you need them. Your life will go on as always while they're wondering what happened and what they're going to do next.

I've suvived Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Clinton, Gray Davis to name a few...Nothing's changed for the better in between or since.

Mis-characterizing my comments as 'evasion' is typical.

You can't frame a legitimate question. Bye bye Ms Pie...

My wife and I and two border collies are full time rv'ers but we are pulling a travel trailer with a Ford.

We have been at it for almost two years now and find it exactly what retirement should be like.

I have been following your 'debate' with MissAmericanPie. Debate isn't the proper term, you have been avoiding her simple, yes that's the proper term, simple questions.

You are truly a professional debater, in your own mind. Fortunately for the audience, you couldn't find your butt with both hands as you have shown repeatedly.

I have tried to give you the "benefit of the doubt" while I read your posts, but my benefit package for fools has run dry.

MissAmericanPie has not been mis-characterizing your comments, you have been refusing to present comprehendable rebuttal. Therefore you have lost this debate hands down. IMO.

"Above all, every good debater must remember one important fact. The ultimate purpose of debate is to win the listener, to bring those in the audience to some desired point of view concerning the question, regardless of the efforts of the opposing speakers. Successful debating is that which accomplishes this purpose, and makes the audience believe the things which the speaker wants believed. The decision of the judges is, after all, a minor matter; throughout the whole period of preparation and presenting of the debate argument, the debater's attention must be centered upon this one vital purpose -- the purpose of persuading the audience."

No, I am not going to separate your argumnts into tiny pieces to show where you failed. Just accept that you have failed to win the heart and mind of this member of the audience.

Have a better day today, than you had yesterday. Take care.

I too have followed many of your socalled debates, and could make the same silly observations you have.
Can accept that you have failed?

[ BTW, in essence your link says that the end, in debate, jusifies any means.]

Rest assured I will have a better day today than you had yesterday, I can guarantee you that.

Well you were on the front row, watching your state destroyed. Here in Ohio it took a while to see it actually happening, but many of us knew it coming long ago.

I had relatives in San Antonio when I was a child, and they would rant and rave about the illegals. I became alarmed about this when I was very young.

They are very thankful that the common person cannot even consider such an idea, let alone believe that they have been betrayed by their elected leaders.

I think more people than we realize know exactly the kind of betrayal our leaders have given us. The thing is, the Democrat party is so vile no one with any morals or Christian beliefs would ever vote for them. Thus, the Republican party is free to pursue the one nationhood they all love so much, and then thumb their noses at the conservatives.

There is no way I'll vote for Kerry. I'll support Bush and he will continue to do whatever it is that the UN has determined should be done.
