February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

Thank you so much for your work translating. It sure does make more sense with your translation. But I'm scratching my head with this latest message supposedly from Bin Laden. I think it must either be a joke from someone or else there are hidden messages in it.

Al-Qaeda Still a Threat, U.S. Still at War, CIA Director Says
March 9 (Bloomberg) -- The al-Qaeda terrorist network blamed for the Sept. 11 attacks remains intent on obtaining and using catastrophic weapons, CIA Director George Tenet said in his annual report to the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee.
``America is still at war,'' Tenet told senators today at a hearing in Washington. ``The steady spread of Osama bin Laden's anti-U.S. sentiment ensures that a serious threat will remain for the foreseeable future.''

Algerian Group Forging Ties With al-Qaida
Tuesday March 9, 2004 7:01 PM
By PAMELA SAMPSON
Associated Press Writer
PARIS (AP) - An extremist group known for deadly bombings and a brutal campaign to create an Islamic state in Algeria is moving to establish stronger ties to al-Qaida, raising fears the militants may launch terrorist attacks beyond their North African territory.
The new leader of the Salafist Group for Call and Combat, an armed organization whose decade-long aim has been to overthrow the Algerian government, declared allegiance to Osama bin Laden's network in the fall.

Calpernia- that picture seems to depict skin, cross sectionally. It shows hair follicles and sebaceous glands. I wonder what kind of infection could be related.

Re- divers- it would be interesting to find out if the UK has reported similar incidents.

Saddam is the guy who looks sick. I don't think he is well at all.

and Loftus also said OBL had moved into Afghanistan. That is obviously false because we all know that US Special Ops nabbed OBL in Iran on or about January 20, 2004. That scoop was repeatedly reported here on this thread as an absolute, uncontestable fact, and many of us who questioned that report were ridiculed, scorned, accused of being trolls or card-carryning members of DU, and threatened with ZOT! Therefore, since OBL has been in custody since January 20, 3004, there is no reason to waste bandwidth on reports that he's still roaming the countryside in greater Pakastan/Afghanastan.
To: Labyrinthos
well, there still is the possibility that he was indeed captured in Iran, but his capture (death) in Afghanistan is going to be staged so as not to embarrass Iran. Let's not discount that totally, look at what the Europeans (including the Brits) just did to us regarding Iran and their nuclear program. We may have had to play it this way, finding him in Iran would have implicated that regime 100% in AQ.

OPINION: You know, I did see the sewage spill article, but didn't post it to my links because I did a little research and found out that Hawaiian storms have been known to cause sewage spills. And it wasn't all that uncommon -- not that there were a lot of sewage spillls.
