Not to be missed:
The 'Offended' 911 Group Peaceful Tomorrows is funded largely by Teresa Heinz
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1091579/posts Peaceful Tomorrows is being portrayed as an independent group of relatives of victims of the 911 attacks. They are getting a lot of press claiming to be outraged over the new Bush ads.
According to their own contribution page, Peaceful Tomorrows is a project of the Tides Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
According to an article in the Pittsburgh Review, Between 1995 and 2001, $4.3 million of that money came from the Howard Heinz Endowment. In 2002, it and the Vira Heinz Endowment blessed The Tides Center, a San Francisco spin-off of the Tides Foundation, with another $190,000 while the two endowments gave $1.6 million to the new Tides Center for Western Pennsylvania.

Why are we giving them concessions???This one will incite many many Americans besides you. We are eliminating fingerprinting and RELAXING the criteria for the incoming from Mexico. Great move - welcome terrorists, criminals and those who will deplete social, medical, law enforcement, and educational benefits for our already devastated city governments.

Thank you. Spent some time today in the library Medical reference section. Inhalation Anthrax, pneumonic plague, smallpox, and aerosolized rabies are all, apparently likely choices for bioterrorism.

Thank you. The information about the school being closed and K-9's sniffing cars suggests this was more than a simple fire.

Stowaway found on plane at Miami International Airport
Authorities at Miami International Airport on Wednesday morning detained a man who stowed away in the landing gear of a plane that arrived from the Dominican Republic.
An airline employee noticed the man as he climbed from a wheel of American Airlines flight 680 shortly after it touched down from Santo Domingo, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
The man, whose name or age was not released, was in good condition, having braved below-zero temperatures during the one hour, 40 minutes flight, said Zach Mann, a DHS spokesman.
The stowaway will be repatriated to the Dominican Republic. Federal agents are investigating how he breeched airport security in Santo Domingo.
''This doesn't happen all the time,'' Mann said. ``But I've seen it in the past.''

Well, well. This is what? the third or fourth stow-away in a four month period? This happened Wednesday and got no press at all. Good find Velveeta. You're always right on top of the airline news.

Man-Oh-Man, everywhere you turn, there's some type of deadly something or other. Thanks for posting the article.
To: jerseygirl
You're right, I had forgotten about Traveller mentioning that.

Just saw this over on Mutter's Homeland Security. Do we have any Freepers who can confirm this?

Increased Security
The air Force has begun increased security measures at all US installations. WPAFB looks serious for checks in and out of all gates. Hope our other branches are doing the same.
To: jerseygirl
After I read the article I looked at the Yahoo news for the photo of Tony Blair giving this speech. He's so pale in the photos and the expression on his face is deadly serious.

And you have a bridge to sell me too, right?Yes! As a matter of fact I have this Nigerian partner and we're selling this spectacular bridge in London. If you'll please just e-mail me your bank account number.....ROFL!

I lost people that day. I know people who lost people that day.
None of us were invited to be part of that group. (not that we would want to associate with them). I don't understand how these groups are formed.

You would think there would be a security check that might be done to stop the stowaways!?
