I never felt the hatred towards Clinton these people have towards Bush. It is an unrational hatred, IMO based on some deep seeded problems within themselves.

Actually, I'd support half of that.

To be able to vote, you must prove that you've been a net tax PAYER to the government in question. That would allow the productive to vote, while locking out all the eaters and Civil servants and such. The ONLY exceptions to the the rule would be Law Enforcement and the Military.

But the left would go positively apeshit over such a proposal. . .

All politicians are chameleons, it's their nature.

That may be but the same tactic will be used against Bush and his record while governor of Texas.

All this moving to the middle by both parties is good for nobody except the politicians.

"2) Bush speaks of the War on Terror as a battle against evil, and that conflicts with the left, which is that there is no evil, only bad circumstances..."

That's what I used to think also...but liberals do believe in evil. While they are willing to exhonerate and make excuses for all types of actions and behavior...believe me when I tell you, they think Bush is evil. There is no "gray area" when it comes to Bush or any other conservative.

The only difficulty I'm having is understanding why I would need to explain to you the differences between conservatives and liberals.

So don't expect me to, if you don't understand it's not my job to educate you.

I'm a states rights, constitutional conservative. If you don't know what that is do some research. I'm not going to explain it to you.

The hates are inspired by completely different things.

I hated Clinton because in my opinion he was a rapist scumbag who was selling our nation out to foreign powers.

Primarily liberals hate Bush because he's religious and has morals.

Then there's another set who don't hate him but do dislike some of his policies.

I have only one thing to say about this....

YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!

If the liberals are so angry it means they see a landslide loss. Presidency, House, Senate, State, Local, Class President, Hall Monitor.....

Just for perspective, here's what a previous President had to say the last time we had this many hysterically angry Americans:

My countrymen, one and all, think calmly and well, upon this whole subject. Nothing valuable can be lost by taking time. If there be an object to hurry any of you, in hot haste, to a step which you would never take deliberately, that object will be frustrated by taking time; but no good object can be frustrated by it. Such of you as are now dissatisfied still have the old Constitution unimpaired, and, on the sensitive point, the laws of your own framing under it; while the new administration will have no immediate power, if it would, to change either. If it were admitted that you who are dissatisfied, hold the right side in the dispute, there still is no single good reason for precipitate action. Intelligence, patriotism, Christianity, and a firm reliance on Him, who has never yet forsaken this favored land, are still competent to adjust, in the best way, all our present difficulty.

-Abraham Lincoln, First Inaugural Address, March 4 1861

I did a google search on "Judy Donavan Arizona" and got the following FR thread,

http://209.157.64.200/focus/f-news/1071052/posts

The original article can be found here,

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/nation/primariescaucus/2004-02-03-dems-primaries_x.htm

Judy says, "I don't care who wins" the Democratic primary, said Judy Donovan of Tucson, Ariz. "I'd get my dog to run. I'm not kidding. I would get Mickey Mouse in there. Anybody but Bush.'"

Yeah, here is another quote from "Robert Wilson from Tennesee." from awhile ago. The press keeps a list of these "Bush haters" so they can quote them whenever they want to create more hatred.

"I'm motivated more strongly by revulsion to Bush's behavior," said Robert Wilson, 77, of Knoxville. "Of the candidates on the ballot and still viable, Kerry is the best bet."

Never mind. It was just a question. I didn't know answering it was going to cause you so much consternation.
