Does anybody have that story about the couple that brought their pooch into a chinese restaurant, and it wound being fed to them by mistake? It really belongs here.

This would be an excellent development, in my opinion. Hopefully, good pet owners will act responsibly and keep our dogs well-behaved in such settings.

When I first started reading the title I thought it might be, "Proposed law would let Hawaiians marry their pets."

Cordially,

This is so unfair, what about pet cats, snakes, gerbils, hamsters, chickens, cows, horses. And all these darn restaurants should provide what is needed to facilitate these various pets. Remember in the old days when they actually used to make people tie up their horses OUTSIDE the saloon! How evil this was, to make the horse stay outside, in the cold rain, snow, whatever. People who call themselves pet owners and are so evil as to leave their pets home alone should have their pets removed. There are good homes for these animals where they will be taken with the owners, everywhere the owner goes. (sarcasm)

I thought, at first, that this was a story about Korean cuisine.

Youre already eating with pets (wild animals that is) if you eat at a restaurant in Hawaii that allows you to sit under the stars.

If you ever go to Honolulu its hard to miss all the wild felines that seem to roam everywhere. Not to mention the geckos.

At least thats been my experience.

Hopefully the REPUBLICAN governor, Linda Lingle, will veto this nonsense. What a waste of time.

Cpl. Rita Levergood and her husband...

Two Hawaiian imbeciles who would have to be straitjacketed and shoved into a padded cell if they dined on three-finger poi that had been pureed from their faithful pooch!

I wouldn't want to bring my dog to a Filipino restaurant. When I lived there the Filipino's were trying to overturn the law against eating dog. They said it discriminated against their culture. That was in '91-'94 in Maui.

Swell. As if it's not enough to put up with dumb waiters, rude customers and their snot nosed kids, we get their animals, too.

Hmmmmm...Most marriages happen because of a dinner date, next someone will want to marry their pets.......and we thought San Francisco was bad. People are scaring me now.
