New e-mail service to...God
Jerusalem Post ^ | Feb. 16, 2004 | ASSOCIATED PRESS

Posted on 02/16/2004 7:35:50 AM PST by yonif

Bezeq announced Monday a new service: E-mails to God that will be placed in the Western Wall.

The new service expands the company's existing fax service of notes to the Western Wall, which receives about 200 notes a week and more on holidays.

Since more people have access to the Internet than fax machines, Bezeq hopes the e-mail service will bring many more notes.

Tradition holds that God will grant the pleas placed between the massive stones of the Wall, which surrounded the Jewish Temple.

Bezeq currently takes the faxed notes, puts them in special envelopes and twice a week brings them to the Wall.

Most of the notes come from New York and Europe, but the company says it has received notes in Japanese and even one that came with a letter saying it had been smuggled out of Iran, which has no diplomatic ties with Israel.

While the company promises it does not read God's mail, workers who put the notes in the wall say they recognize people who use the service on a regular basis, including some who send the same request every month.

Notes to Western Wall can be sent to: onemail.bezeq.com or faxed to 02 561 2222

Now that God's email address is posted, spammers can harvest it and within the next week, God will be getting mortgage, life insurance, Viagra, and porn spam...

Spammers, what a bunch of snakes....

So how do you use the email service? onemail.bezeq.com is a URL, not an email address. And I don't read Hebrew.

THat website is only for those in Israel to use, as a service. Its not really an email address, but a whole service for your phone, which includes other things as well.

The fax number is your best bet.

011-972-2-561-2222

I believe that is how you would call from America.

Must use a Mac, cause God is not PC oriented.

He must use Mac. It is easier for the Holyest of them all to download music to his I-God.

So how do you use the email service?

Try this one:

http://www.aish.com/wallcam/Place_a_Note_in_the_Wall.asp

you type your prayer into a place on the web page.

LOL..."Knee-mail." Love it. The other think, the link to God isn't suspectible to operating system crashes, nor computer viruses.

Don't need to fax Him. Here in Georgia, it's a local call. :)
