Explosive Story: GOP has asked British SS to bug phones of American political candidates!
Posted on 02/15/2004 8:36:43 AM PST by Hillary's Lovely Legs
FOX NEWS 11:25am EST 2-15-2004
Fox news is interviewing John Loftus, Formers Justice Department Prosectutor who states that he has an inside scoop that "the Republican Party has asked the British Secret Service to bug phones of American political Candidates. "
FOX NEWS Eric Shawn: "It's a very serious and very shocking story."
JOHN LOFTUS: "That allegation seems very storng of that is the case. Why would any political party want to bug someone else?
It's a juicy way of running a smear campaign behind the works. We have been doing that for about 50 years and it started with president Roosevelt. He had signed a secret treaty with Britian in 1943 that let them each set up listening posts on each other's soil with no search warrants. It's a great little scheme. "
"So the British can use American computers to bug American politicians, and the Americans can use British computers to bug British politicians and each side can truthfully say that they aren't spying on their own citizens. They are just trading information under the table."
ERIC: How widespread is this. Members of the Security Council admitted to me that they are being bugged and that it wasn't surprising, they expected that.
JOHN: "What congress doesn't realise is that this is meant to favor one party only. In 1978 Carter tried to ban taping without a court order. So the bill is that the NSA cannot target american citizens, but not other countries from doing it. "

The only thing being "microwaved" after election day if you and others stay home is going to be an American city, after the Islamofascists, with the help of a DEM president you put in, nuke one.

Now if only somebody would tell Fox NewsSensation sells.
That's all that's going on here.
Fox is just a business.

That's one of the drawbacks to being successful.
They know that they can't rest completely on their several number 1 rated programs to increase their advertising revenue, which is what TV is really about.
I'm frankly glad that they have a high number of known liberals on their team, if they didn't the attacks against their "fair and balanced" sloagan would certainly carry some weight, as it is they don't.

I hope we don't have another civil war in this country.
But if we do, I too will be among the well armed.

An ambush sounds likely in this case. But it took me all of 30 seconds to view this guy's website and determine he was at the very best a militant lib, and at worst a lib crackpot. Why didn't Fox do the same?

He sure does.
I just wish Fox news had taken a second to at least check his website before giving him any coverage.
Airing crackpots won't really earn them any esteem from their CNNABCNBCCBSPBSNPR "collegues".

I'm sure that Fox knows who John Loftus is and has probably researched his website. I've watched several of his segments on Sunday mornings and most of his reports center around intel, not on the supposed dirty dealings of one political party or another.
I find it interesting that he waited to drop this bombshell the very same week that one of his reports was backed up by coverage in major newspapers (the China-Pakistan thing). It's almost like he thought the Republican "bugging" allegation would carry more weight because the China story received major play in the print media.

ewww....just a little sample of Loftus's, uh..."thoughts"...
Former Federal Prosecutor John Loftus confirms the Bush-Nazi scandal Copyright October 31. 2003 Some of our most famous American families, including the Bushes, made their fortunes from the Holocaust. Before I tell this awful story, I have to admit that I am a Democrat, but I quite like this President. He is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he has a good heart, and the good sense not to follow in his father's footsteps. "W" has some good people around him who keep a firewall in the White House against his father's oil cronies. In terms of Republican politics, "W" is a rebel.
Morally, George W. Bush is the polar opposite of his grandfather and great grandfather (the "W" stands for Walker) who caused such havoc in the world with their Nazi investments. One cannot blame "W" for what his grandfather did, anymore than one can blame Jack Kennedy because his father bought Nazi stocks. What most people do not know is that Joseph Kennedy bought his Nazi stocks from Prescott Bush. Every great family has its scandal. The Bush family's scandal is that they funded Hitler and profited from the Holocaust.
I'm extremely disappointed in Eric Shaun for not reading up on his "guest" and in FNC for giving airtime to this joined-at-the-hip-with-Michael-Moore twit .

Ah, so the real story of Newt's phone is now clear...

In other words, this guy is a nutcase.
To: arasina
Geeez, this is suppose to pass for journalism. I wonder if FOX will have me on. I've got this "story" that Kerry's FRENCH fam was Nazi synps in France during the WWII occupation. How's that for a "story " that deserves airtime on FOX? Ofcourse I haven't done ANY research to know if it's true or not.
Fox is better than the rest, but, the liberal weekends are almost more than I can stomach. If anyone saw this interview, did they give his credentials as amember of the Muslim board?
