Guys, Names of officials and the BLATANT LIE they are advocating. This proposal does the EXACT opposite of what the bottom line avers. ESPECIALLY the "compassionate" part. The proposal will create disharmony, bad feelings among workers, even hatred toward illegal workers and even all "hispanics" by some who see differences by skin shade. Compassion?? There is no backbone to deport even those convicted of crimes today, how will this be when even more illegals come here, or those that are required to leave within the constructs of the "guest worker" policy??????. The media searches for the single incidences of illegals acting in an honorable fashion(like joining the military) but leave out the reporting of the thousands that are in our jails for felonies. I for one would like to know how an illegal alien is allowed to join the military in the first place, and why he is not booted for lying.......The first act, supercedes all subsequent ones..IMO.
