If you want to stop amnesty, there are directions here:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1076960/posts

That contains the email addresses and phone/FAX numbers of the Senators on the subcommittee.

Shut up with your logic and reason, and just vote Republican already. It's not like you have anywhere else to go.

As you can see, the politicians have completely stopped listening to their constituants.They are going to get their amnesty, one way or another.They are going to flood this country with aliens. It's the only way they can dilute the voice of the people.

The politicians don't care who their constituants are. They will still be politicians and they will still be making themselves richer and richer.

Most of them already consider themselves citizens of the world and their allegence is to (themselves first) the whole world population and not the U.S.

Ever since the UN was formed, they have been working to take away the United States soverninity. It doesn't matter which party is in charge.
Elections are nothing more than games to appease the people.
The parties play vulgarly dirty and stab each other in the back, but you hardly ever see any of them carrying a grudge about it.
I think they get together at they're clubs (and they all belong to the same clubs) and say "Dude, you nailed me with that one. I guess I won't be President this year and if it hurts me too much, I have already been promised the Vice President in charge of paper cups at City Corp,"

The "elite" think were all stupid and for at least 50 years, we've been playing right into their hands.

"...this whole article just makes me sick..."

Agreed. The ONLY way I would support any legislation right now is if the borders are sealed FIRST, so that a continued flood of ILLEGALS, like that initiated by Reagan's 1986 program, is stopped.

....and before some Pro-Illegal-Immigrant FReeper gets on here and starts bitching: I don't really care how this is accomplished.

However here's some suggestions:
1) Hire Ariel Sharon's company that is currently building Israel's Wall to put up another one here (Good fences make good neighbors);
2) Landmines. Lots and lots of landmines;
3) Give all the illegals that are in our prisons for committing crimes in the US a shovel and have them start digging a moat;
4) $10-20 bounty per illegal turned in. Kinda like a 5 cent deposit on bottles (Hey, it works for the Greenies).

Hey! I was going to say that. Oh well, bump.

This government has ceased to represent and act for the benefit of American Citizens.

In the next election we will be given the choice of a Socialist or a radical Communist.

Farewell America of my youth. We are screwed.

Now, which is more likely to happen first?
1) Federal thought police will break down my door.
2) I'll be banned from Free Republic.

At the present rate of immigration, by mid 2050 there will be 200 million immigrants in the country. I'm happy that Ted Kennedy likes the Bush proposal. That shows it has to be hell on earth for Americans.

I'm not happy. Why the heck can't the Mexicans and the rest of the illegals just stay home and fix their own country? Why is it our responsibility to make everybody prosperous? Hmmm? I admit to being a closet isolationist -- it's getting crowded in here.

If Ted Kennedy likes it, it has to be a good plan, right? Right?

The administration rolled out its top immigration officials and several senior Republican senators yesterday to endorse publicly a guest-worker program offered by President Bush that could give legal status to the 8 million to 12 million illegal aliens now in the United States.

The governments agenda is clear. If they get their way, almost every city in the country will look like a third world city within the next 20 years. We know this.

No country on earth would tolerate epic millions to invade their country illegally. Are these millions educated? Do they have high skills that will benefit American's? What do these millions of uneducated, non English speaking third worlders have to offer besides stoop labor? We are no longer building cities and interstate highways, etc. There is no need for millions upon millions of these uneducated, unskilled third world people.

The big question is, what is the real motive of this government? Why the rush to fill America with uneducated, unskilled, illegal aliens?

Are not our hospitals, landfills, jails, freeways, classrooms, cities, already overcrowded and full? Are not our social services already choked off? Are not many hundreds of thousands of American's out of work? Is there anyone out there that does not believe this an epic government conspiracy with the federal government working in concert with the state governments? The overwhelming majority are sick and tired of the government turning America into a third world country.

Why are we no longer being represented?

What is their real agenda?
