In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: 'Kerry will implode over an intern issue'...
Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision not to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT....
A serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked...

Well we know he likes to date much younger women and marry older (but much wealthier) ones. Teresa is at least six years older. Now, now, he would have married her no matter what her age was, so long as she had money...........

Things are starting to make sense now. Attitudes of Harold Ford Jr. on Kox & Friends, Susan Estrich on H&C, this week. They knew this was coming.

Looks like it. Notice that this story didn't come out earlier in the campaigns.

HOW CAN HILLARY GET IN THE RACE NOW?
I know a lot of people are wondering. If Hillary is to get in the race, wouldn't she have to hurry up, before John Kerry wins enough delegates to ensure his getting the nod during their convention in July? The answer is, not necessarily. At this point for her to enter the primary race would be in violation of her pledge not to run and would still expose her to the primary race slugfest, considering that Senator Kerry and the other candidates are still in the running. The premise by which Hillary would enter the political chess match was and still is for her to be drafted, as the only person the Democrats have who could beat President Bush in the general election.
Even though it seems that Senator Kerry will have legitimately won
the right to represent the Democratic Party against Bush, I don't
believe it will ever happen. If you want to know what is happening
during this Democratic primary, its best not to look at what you can
see as the election saga progresses. The place to watch for the
eventual outcome is, as it always is, with the Clintons in the
underbelly of the party apparatus. If you look there you will find
that the Clintons' key political operatives are in every key
position. Terry McAuliffe is in charge of the money as well as the
DNC machine. Harold Ickes is raising millions from the Hollywood
elite to back whichever candidate wins the Democratic Party primary.
For anyone to believe that the Clintons would involve their people to
this extent to get someone else elected is a serious mistake. The
reason is simple. If they let someone else win the primary, that
person would become the power center of the party, especially, if
someone other than Hillary were to run against Bush and win.
The reality of this situation is what keeps me grounded in my belief
that she is still staying with their plan for her to be the candidate
the Democrats put forth to challenge Bush. The problem you have is
that you may not yet see the potential she still has to end up being
the only candidate that will be allowed to run against Bush. The
slight of hand that they could use to pull off this trick would be to
let Kerry go ahead and become the obvious victor, which will cause
all of the other candidates to get out. Once that is done, don't be
surprised if some very damaging information on Kerry is accidentally
on purpose leaked that will destroy his ability to beat Bush. That
would leave the party in the precarious situation of having elected a
candidate in the Democratic primary process that could not possibly
be allowed to run against Bush. At that point they would have little
choice but to draft someone else that would be able to rally the
party and run a national Presidential campaign on short notice. Do I
really need to tell you who that person would be? So you see,
Hillary is still very much in the running for the Presidency against
George W. Bush in 2004.
The one person that I feel sorry for is Senator John Kerry, because
he, like yours truly, stands between Hillary and her claim of being
the most powerful person in the world. I would offer this suggestion
to Senator Kerry. Take seriously, the body count of people that have
posed similar problems to the Clintons in the past.
So, how can Hillary get in the race now? Easy; stick with the game
plan and be ready when she gets the call. Folks, I believe she is
going to run and the Clintons have planned it all along.

I doubt this will hurt him with the party faithful. What's ironic is that the usual defense - no, they don't offer a defense - the response is, "Hey, I never claimed to have integrity so don't try to hold me to that standard."

I agree. There is no way the Dems would have played up the AWOL story this early in the campaign if they thought it was a winner. It might nick W a little know, but there is no way it would have played all the way to November. They had to get some mud (however undeserved) on Bush now, so they can say everyone lies etc.

She's already filed. It was done in summer of last year by a group "without her knowledge".

Excerpt from an Idahoan Statesman article:
"Heinz Kerry, at 65, is five years older than her husband. She has a reputation for bluntness bordering on recklessness for a prospective first lady. She´s spoken of her prenuptial agreement, Botox treatments and Kerry´s middle-of-the-night Vietnam flashbacks,
and made a gunshot sound when asked how she would respond to infidelity.
Becoming first lady, she once said, would be worse than going to a Carmelite convent.

I think that a LOT of people are going to regret voting for Kerry rather than who they wanted to vote for, just because they thought he was going to win. Even much of the media is now sorry it ran the Dean Scream so much; I think a lot of the regretters may be Dean supporters. If people who have already started voted start grumbling, this could open the door to changing the rules mid-way. The precident was set with Toricelli in NJ. It may not affect this campaign season, but more flexible rules could be set in motion for future campaigns, making it easier for someone standing on the sidelines to jump in without the necessity of running throughout the campaign season.

Do we really think Hillary could win against Bush? Truthfully, I think Kerry has a better chance.
1. Hillary would mobilize the GOPs base on election day
2. Hillary would not pull support from the 30% fence sitters.
Kerry has the best chance of avoiding 1 and getting 2.
