The 'V' Chronicles. How womantic.

How about just igoring the "Vagina Monologues" and celebrate Valetine's Day anyhow. I'm going to take my wife out to dinner and give her a nice pair of diamond earrings. She's seen the "Vagina Monologues," but I doubt she'll object to my plans.

We'll be doing all the wonderful, romantic things that go along with Valentine's Day. Candy, choc, hearts, roses, cards, etc. All the things those in love do on Valentine's day. V in this house stands for Valentine!!! Nothing else.

Just when I think people can't get any weirder...

When I was a kid, Valentine's Day meant eating those small, heart-shaped candies, and hoping to get a card from one of the cute girls in class -- in that order of priority, I will admit.Yeah, those were the days! Nowadays, for a great many students 12 and older, it's just another day, another Lewinsky.

to paraphrase a line from "Goldeneye:"
"You can't win. Marriage is dead. Deal with it, men."

Things have reached the point that commentators are now urging us to "Take Back Valentine's Day!"They are NOT going to take away the fun of Valentine's Day for me. I like red roses, candy and diamonds. LOL!

The NOW passed a resolution declaring lesbians are the frontline troops of the women's movement. Yeah, that makes sense...let 0.5% of a gender fight for the rights of the rest of us. The only thing I have in common with the lesbians I know is physiology.

I'm not the least bit frightened of these losers. They represent such a miniscule part of our society that they can't be taken seriesly.
Just steer your kids clear of these freaks, or teach them enough so that they can deal with the trash dispensed by these freaks, and there's nothing to worry about.
For every woman wanting to turn Feb 14th into some freak holiday there are 10,000 who want flowers and chocolates and a nice card. Unfortunately, I only handle one, so the rest of you will have to take care of the other 9,998 out of 10,000.

If "marriage" is some obscene thing that perverts and lesbians do, no straight person is going to be willing to do it, so that will be the end of marriage.
The lesbos want it, they can have it.

Alright. Just to do my part, I'll take a dozen... : )

What about the fact that it's not just Valentine's Day, it's SAINT Valentine's Day! We're promoting Christianity here, which we all know is a big no-no. And what if kids are exchanging V-day cards in school? Don't we have a Church-vs-State issue potentially? </sarcasm off>
To: Chris Talk
I can think of at least one "obscene" thing lesbians do that I would be willing to do, and I'm straight as an arrow! Saves me money on dental floss, too!

I remember back when Valentine was referred to as a saint. How soon will it be when St. Patrick's Day is just called Patrick's Day?

They represent such a miniscule part of our society that they can't be taken seriesly. This may be true, but they are so vociferous and noisy and are so driven in their agenda that they have succeeded in negatively redefining a lot of our culture. Look at what they've achieved in the past 30+ years.
