No, but he sure messed up his chances for 2008.

The endorsement of Al Gore is like Michael Corleone kissing Fredo before he goes out fishing for the day.

Gore's antics only make politics more interesting by helping his fellow Democrats implode.

I am starting to get the feeling that this isn't a presidential race at all. Tell me the truth is this just a great big Twilight Zone episode?

This whole thing just gets more "out there" everyday.

Al Gore, the Democratic Party*s presidential standard-bearer in 2000, has been all but invisible recently in the campaign of presidential hopeful Howard Dean, the man he endorsed for the 2004 nomination.

This is Mr. Excitement we are talking about here. I*m sure the only reason Al hasn*t said anything is because he hasn*t figured it out yet. :)

There is only one word to describe Al Gore, and that is BOOB.

But yesterday Mr. Gore delivered a harsh attack on Mr. Bush at a state Democratic Party dinner in Nashville, saying the president "betrayed this country ... he took America on an ill-conceived foreign adventure."

Blah Blah Blah. Would this be the same "ill-conceived" adventure of regime change that Clinton signed while Gore was VP?

When the Dems have no more use for one of their heroes they drop him like a sack of wet potatoes. Or as in Dean's case they kick him down the stairs.

I must say it is interesting to watch Gore make just about every wrong move in the book. Given his obsessive need to be relevant and eternal longing to be president, what fool thing will he do next?

"In the last three years, the truth has taken a beating from this administration," Mr. Gore said. "In my view it more closely resembles the Nixon-Agnew administration than any previous administration."

Look in the mirror, Al.

A makeover on "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"? Goodness knows that wax figure makeup isn't working for him.

Algore was bested by The Clintons so he's taking his reputation for political ineptitude out on President Bush. Back the wrong horse and you have to lash out. One can at least take small comfort in the fact Algore resents the Clintons as much as he loathes Bush for cheating him out of The White House.

Algore is toast. Its over for him. You can only reinvent yourself so many times before people realize you are cancerous to the core (ahem Hillary).

Imus just played an audio clip from, I believe, this 20-minute speech. Gore was going into his throaty, screaming style that he has used in the past. He sounded as if he was trying to frighten children and small animals.

I heard the audio clip too, insane. I guess Gore and Dean have that in common, screaming, lunatic speeches.
