Bush appreciates the significance of his responsibility to our country.

I agree, he does, very much so.

Geobels Russert asked this question after citing the exit polls from the primary circuses.

DUH - these were principally Democraps who voted in the Democrap Circus? Did Dumbo Russert expect the Democraps to hold Bush in high regard?

Thank you for your post and especially for your service to American Defender2. You are so right about Clinton DECIMATING our military. I suspect all the branches were treated much like the Air Force was treated by him.

And Democratic Candidate John F. Kerry advocated and supporting downsizing and de-funding of our military for YEARS!! And he thinks he's qualified to be President. The man is a loon.

Something sure is holding Kerry's forehead in place; it doens't move anymore when he talks. That gives him that Nancy Pelosi startled look. ;)

Just watched the first half of the re-run and I was pleasantly surprised to see that GWB did a great.

Russet asked the same question on WMD 5 different ways and the President explained the situation he faced extremely well.

After reading all the naysayers who watched it this morning I was prepared for the worst.....but GWB was just fine....he was himself....authentic, sincere and straight forward.....not a glib slick liar like his predessor!

And he has a vision of how to change the middle east through a free democratic Iraq.....already we see results in Lybia's admission of nuclear arms.

Our children & grandchildren have a better chance to live in a safer world thanks to the leadership of GWB.

Kerry can not be natural. He just says what he thinks his audience wants to hear. He has a tin ear and a strutting presentation. IT is the quintessential NO SALE! Conclusion" Bush is as natural in his own skin as was Reagan. Kerry is as phony as Gore.

Exactly what we all saw in the debates between GWB & Gore.....W won every debate by being himself.....even the media picked up on Gore's pompous attempts to re-invent himself with each debate.

President George W. Bush remembered General James as well. Very early into his Presidency, President Bush appointed General Jame's Son, Also an U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard Veteran, (Then) Brigadier General, Daniel James III as Commander of the Texas Air National Guard. I think this is fitting as my final note. Texas has at least two F-16 units assigned. The 147th F.G. and the 182nd F.G.. Both Units have Outstanding records. Very Best FReegards, Defender2 D2
