Kerry's Own Words

On Fox News recently, my friend John Kerry stated: "I've never made any judgments about any choice somebody made about avoiding the draft, about going to Canada, going to jail, being a conscientious objector, going into the National Guard."

Sen. Kerry did make a judgment, in 1992, when Bill Clinton -- who did not serve -- was running against Sen. Bob Kerrey, a Vietnam veteran. After Bob Kerrey criticized Gov. Clinton, John Kerry said, "We do not need to divide America over who served and how." He should stick to his previous position by acknowledging the honorable service of President Bush and the hundreds of thousands of other National Guard members defending America every day. The president piloted an F-102 in the National Guard and received an honorable discharge when his requirements were met.

Sen. Kerry is a war hero, but if campaigns were about war records, I would have won easily in 1996.

WTG, Bob Dole!

backhoe --- for your files. :)

Sen. Jerkoff Kerry is dirt. The demons attacked Dan Quayle the same way by demeaning his Guard duty. REmember this is the party that fought to keep military votes out of Florida. Disgrace but not a surprise.

Campaigns are about issues, and the candidates of both parties owe the American people a compelling vision for the future of America.

That about sums it up for me.

Good job getting this posted and a reminder that Bob Dole also got GENERAL Clark to utter that despicable nonsense about his rank making him more important than Kerry's junior officer rank during Viet Nam.

That was really the beginning of the end of Clark and let's hope that Dole's editorial will help diminish the so called luster off Kerry.

Sen. Kerry is a war hero,

Wondering why haven't we heard from anyone else on the swift boat or someone who may have witnessed Mr. Kerry's wounding?

Gen. Wesley Clark learned the price of irresponsibility the hard way as thousands of voters deserted him in the weeks since he intimated President Bush might have been a deserter.
What a Clark Bar.

DId you notice yesterday in SC that Bush's speech was delivered in front of a Coast GUARD cutter? Expect more of the same in the coming months, until Kerry and McAuliffe get the memo from the Clintons that this tactic is backfiring.

You know, of course, you're right. Why else the fap over "rushing" into Iraq, and no WMDs?

I'm with you. WHAT did Kerry do to be a "hero?"

I think it is gross exaggeration because there seems to be nothing to back it up.

Another Democrat rumor that becomes fact?

"Sen. Kerry is a war hero, but if campaigns were about war records, I would have won easily in 1996."

And George McGovern would have won in 1972.
