Perhaps what you don't realize, the sentiment toward Canada has changed, for most of US. Some of US resent the living heck out of the way your Government has behaved during the war on terror, among other things.

While I don't relish the fact of losing a 'friend' on our Northern border, I have to be realistic about the quality of that friendship. Seems somewhat lacking.

Now, as to the idea of Canada enjoying the 'bombing of America,' I would like to point out, you ARE on our Northern border, and what happens to US, WILL affect YOU, in more ways than one.
