Alleged al Qaida Operative Provides Cultural Commentary
Alleged al Qaida operative Daleel Almojahid, who has become more than a little prolific in threatening internet postings in the last few months, is this week quoting from American news reports and adding to them his own brand of social commentary.
In a recent message titled "Go and Clean up your Mess coz I think You Need to find a New Religion," (
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Daleel_Almojahid_1/message/25) Almojahid dealt with a story about an upcoming draft report commissioned by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
The report, to be released on Feb. 27, found that children made more than 11,000 allegations of sexual abuse by priests.
Almojahid commented, "May God bring upon you his most strongest punishment for your sins. Even your priests have been poisoned by your downgrading morals and then you try to teach the Muslims ! Where are the Muslims and where are you! You need to (sit)with us again and start learning what does God mean from the begining!"
Almojahid finished his commentary by writing, "To the real Christians that follow their religion faithfully and don't believe that Christ is the son of God, as God has no sons He is the one and only, you can forget this post it's not for you. May God bless you."
However, Almojahid is not alone in his anti-American rhetoric. A terrorist web site graphically condemning perceived immorality and excesses in America, as well as the Bush Administration and the U.S. War on Terror, is www.forsan.net. On its front page for example it features a splashy graphic commentary (www.forsan.net/animation/mutafarikat/alhawasawa.JPG) of the artist's thoughts on the recent Valentine's Day celebration.
Another picture on the same site shows President George W. Bush as Hannibal, the cannibalistic lead figure in the "Silence of the Lambs" movie.
In a subsequent message on his Yahoo group site, Almojahid apparently quoting unattributed material from an Islamic scholar, addressed the issue of what Muslims think about Jesus. He wrote (
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Daleel_Almojahid_1/message/26), "We believe that `Eesa (peace be upon him) was one of the slaves of Allaah, and one of His noble Messengers. Allaah sent him to the Children of Israel to call them to believe in Allaah alone and worship Him alone."
In another post titled "What Morals are you trying to Spread, America!" Almojahid quoted from a CNN report dealing with the hundreds of gay and lesbian couples who got married Saturday at San Francisco's City Hall.
Almojahid commented, "Then you ask why is God going to punish us and what punishment will be enough on people like these. What morals are you trying to spread? What freedom are you talking about ? The freedom to become gay and lesbian? ... Tell me what morals does America stand for? How do you expect God to stand by your side? Your punishment is coming by the hands of the mojahideen, and by the troops and armies of God inshalaah. Filthy , filthy , and disgusting, these are not humans any more, they are animals, pigs."
Continuing his commentary, Almojahid wrote " Go and tell your children this is America my child; see how great we are! ... We are homos and lesbians my child (with) no morals whatsoever, and after all this we fight and we say (may God defend America). What America is God going to defend? Await his punishment soon, for your sins have reached the skies."
