On thread 2 we discussed the dangers of anhydrous ammonia. I'm back in Birmingham, AL this week for my contract work. The power plant has the kind of ammonia tanks and wind sock that are representative of the kind of facility we were discussing. I snapped a digital pic so you can see what to expect. Note the direction of the wind sock and steam. In case of a leak, you run the opposite direction that the steam/sock is pointing.

In the absence of a windsock, just head upwind of the wispy white vapors hugging the ground around the tanks.

there is gonna be a big event reminesient of say the last
rail car derailment?
