Fumes detected on jet

Published on: 02/08/04

Two Delta Air Lines employees received medical treatment Sunday night after they were exposed to a mysterious odor emanating from a plane at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

The incident occurred about 9 p.m. while the employees were unloading bags from a plane that had landed at the Atlanta airport from Boston, said Delta spokeswoman Patsy Mulcahy.

Authorities do not know the source of the odor, which came from the belly of the plane.

The Atlanta Fire Department responded and evaluated the employees as a precautionary measure, Mulcahy said.

No one was injured, and arriving passengers were unaffected.

Belly of the plane? I wish they wouldn't have said "belly".

So you have another story of fumes making people sick From airplanes. Add that to the one in a building the other day and we have quite a few of these.
