SANAA, Yemen, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A purported statement by al-Qaida in Yemen warned Saturday of a "major strike" soon in the United States.

The statement, distributed by the Yemeni Tagamoo Party for Reforms, said: "A major strike, a big event will take place in America soon," reminiscent of the Sept. 11 attacks.

I agree and I think there are other factors to place on the left side as well.

Political infighting and name calling by and of the lefties plays right into the hands (and graphics) of the Jihadists. They degrade our leadership and cause us as a nation to be disrespected.

I believe they located an Amber Alert girl, age 15, who was abducted from Pasa Robles, California at a rest area near Bellingham, Washington this afternoon.

I'd like to know too. Trying to read through the AlQaeda thread to see if there's mention of it. Haven't found anything yet. If you find out, please let me know.

Blessings,

Well now we know that the government really does consider the attack of nuclear power plants a real possibility.

Did you see what Alan Keyes said on H&C?

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1071872/posts

"KEYES: Oh, I sure do--and I wouldn't want to give the impression that I don't have other problems with this administration on some areas where I think that the president has fallen short of the kinds of things that I really think are needed in some areas.

But I also wouldn't want to give the impression that I think that anything can be more decisive for the American people right now than the question of our national survival in the face of the most insidious threat this nation has ever faced.

In the face of that, I think a lot of us are going to be putting our other issues behind those issues that have to do with the survival of this nation in wartime."

Yes I saw it before. Based solely on Terror reasons. I could say more but this thread is not the place to do it. I have posted what I believe on the apropiate threads. I really should not have even made my last comment here.

If you look at a couple of other articles, you can see that the threat of a global nuclear war is higher now, than it ever was during the cold war. I wouldn't want Kerry or any of the Democrats making the decisions -- it was under Clinton's watch, when all this proliferation was ignored.
