SANAA, Yemen, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A purported statement by al-Qaida in Yemen warned Saturday of a "major strike" soon in the United States.
The statement, distributed by the Yemeni Tagamoo Party for Reforms, said: "A major strike, a big event will take place in America soon," reminiscent of the Sept. 11 attacks.

I just found this a few minutes ago. I figured you would be interested, knowing your position on border control. I've never heard the term "OTM" before. This is not an official "news" site. It just looks like some individuals fed up with the lack of border control.
>>>Ann and I have been saying for months now that our borders are wide open and totally accessible to anyone who cares to cross them, especially in the New Mexico desert.
>>>Ann and I have repeatedly called US Border Patrol and the Luna County Sheriff's Department about our spotting OTMs (Other Than Mexicans) walking through the desert on a daily basis. Amazingly, every time we've called, nothing has been done, no official has shown up.
>>>OK. OK...The sheriff's department showed up once, but found nothing. The reason? It was raining and muddy and would be impossible to locate anyone in that weather. As for US Border Patrol, they just never showed up, period.
http://www.wwviews.com/columnists/denisquivering.html Granny, have you heard of this before? Do you, or others in your neck of the woods, have experiences similar to this with "OTM's"? Just wondering how many people have noticed this. I'm not sure I would know just by "looking" whether someone was Mexican or not. I know one personally who is red headed! You would not know he was Mexican unless he opened his mouth.

Never mind that last post. I just clicked on that site's homepage. Seems a bit anti-american to say the least. I wish I had seen it before I linked to it.

It must be that Southern charm. Personally, when I found out he was a trial lawyer, that told me all I needed to know about him. :)

Bah, most of those pirates were just armed with knives. A few shotguns would have ruined their fun.

70 missing nukes and the threat to use them in American cities may explain some of the waffling by Bush on the "War with Terror". Israel is being forced to surrender, and the Pali's are offering nothing publicly in return. It is pretty clear that America is forcing Israel to give the cities in Gaza to the Palis, is this a Blackmail payment to Al Queda?

It's a weekly report.
Check it out.
These pirates are creative, but
the crew on these ships defending
their ship and stores don't seem to
be slouches, either.

Thanks for the link, I will watch for it each week. It strikes me as odd that piracy is still going strong in the 21st century, but it really shouldn't surprise me. When I think about pirates, I think of the 17th century.

Were Khan and Khabab (Mursi) ever in direct or indirect communication?
Was AQ able to get enough info from Khan and his cronies to figure out how to detonate the nukes that it is apparent they now have?
02/09/04 Debka reports "Western intelligence believes al Qaeda had Pakistani help to obtain its operational nuclear devices and is keen for full exposure."
And before you give in to the urge to bash Debka;
"On Oct. 13, 2001 DEBKAfile first uncovered the sale of Russian 10-12 nuclear suitcases to al Qaeda out of an original stock of 132 of which 84 went missing."
On Dec. 4, 2001, DEBKA-Net-Weekly reported capture of two of bin Ladens nuclear mules.

By today's standards, JFK would be a hard right republican. Yeah, I think you are right. Kind of scary how far left we as a country have veered.
