They should have said:
"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. MTV will never produce another Super Bowl halftime."

The first half--up until the last couple minutes--was boring, boring, boring. Now it's a game. First half was field position and guts. The game moved on to scoring.
