Do you hear the laughter? That's Bush, laughing at conservatives. He's got them by the b*lls and he knows it...

Just like his dad in '92.

PS: sarcasm acknowledged. :O)

Well, that's true, no doubt.

At least you admit that much. If you want to put the safety of our citizens in the hands of a John Kerry because you don't like an arts endowment - and apparently you do - there's not much I can say to change your mind. All I can tell you is that I think it's lunacy.

I guess you didn't read my post and your point is???

Just teasing. I saw you were concerned you might lose your "Bushbot status," so I played along.

The NEA is a pustule, but a symbolic pustule, and not that expensive, as big government swindles go. I'd kill it in a heartbeat, but I was strcuk at how this, of all things, touched the nerve it has with a few.

BTW, you got #666.

Okay, you win, your sophisticated logic overwhelmed me, it really did

I'm glad to see that it didn't since you are unable to refute anything I said.

That's how we were able to show their flight paths on TV up to the minute. Remember?

Ok .. I admit it's late and I've had a long day ..

But I don't recall seeing their flight paths on TV the morning of 9/11

"Look, we've got to win the bloody election before anything else can be done. Can't you see that?"

Well then don't waist your time here crying to us. Go cry to Bush.

Four or eight years ? It'll last far longer than that and the UNAPPEASABLES will be delighted. WHY ? Because all the rest of us will be whining and whinging then too.

FR was just one big HAPPY place, for them, during the Clinton years, because the rest of us were as unhappy as they were/still are.

For me it's about judges. I want to make sure Bush appoints as many judges as possible. Those in CA who are upset about illegal immigration can thank judges for many of their problems. We have GOT to appoint judges who will not legislate from the bench. If we don't get this under control illegal immigration will be the least of our worries, IMO.

I might be able to stomache this if I thought it was part of a maneuver for larger political gain. But there is no suggestion of that here.

So you don't think he would be doing it because he sincerely thinks it's "the right thing to do"? That's what the president says is his sole motivation for almost anything he does.

An excellent point. We can't afford a liberal like Kerry in the Oval Office. We just CAN'T.

According to its Financial Summary for FY 2002, the National Endowment of the Arts received almost a $100 million dollars from the Federal Government.

That would have paid for at least 1,000 border gaurds (a 40% increase and 40,000 handguns for airline pilots ( a 95% increase) which we do not presently have deployed during our current "war on terror". 'Bout says it all.

Of course we did. Do you think he got in on the votes of Dems and moderates?

No, I think you're all Buchanan moles, or Losertarians.

Everyone, everyone on this thread.

That's it.
