Here we go again with your homo fantasies.... There you go again with that transference. Wes Clark has an autographed copy of his cover for your collection.

Did you 'copy and paste' that from a thread 3 or 4 years old?

Why no, that would have been far too advanced for your comprehesion skills.

Karl Rove sets the tone and the pace...underlings wouldn't be doing crap like this unless they thought they had a permissive environment.

If this story is accurate, it's a strategic error on the part of the White House.

So this is what it takes to get you to wake up?
Well, better late than never, I suppose.

Repeat after me:
Go Pat Go!!!
Go Pat Go!!!
Go Pat Go!!!

LOL! I'll convert you yet!

It's the absolute arrogance, though, that separates this proposal from all the others. It's like he's rubbing it in. "F- you, I don't need your vote."

Bingo.

Maybe someone else has noticed this -- I haven't read the entire thread (like I can catch up with eleventy nine kiloposts *and* maintain some semblance of a life?) -- but I've skimmed it, and haven't noticed it.

So, with no further ado -- stop for a moment, and note the timing of this travesty. It's almost as if this is Rove's reply to the outrage over the amnesty.

"Slap in the face" is far too polite a term for what he's doing. Spitting in our faces is more like it.

"You don't like CFR? You don't like socialized medicine? You complain about the amnesty? You demand action? Fine. Here's your 'action', chump. You're now on the hook for the biggest boost ever in payments to NEA. Want more of me? Or are ya just gonna learn your lesson, shut your damn mouths, and VOTE, like I'm tellin' ya.

"You want more? I got more. You keep on complaining, and you'll get more. Maybe I'll think about creating... I mean, having Dubya create... a Cabinet-level Department of Gay Affairs... hmmm... has a certain ring to it. Ya never know. So just keep pushing, you fools. Or, STFU, and vote, dammit!"

Yeah, I think I can see it going down like that.

[So in your opinion those citizens that do not share your political views are domestic enemies?]

What planet are you from? What you need to understand is that the constitution of the Unites States is viewed by many Conservatives as a divinely inspired document. A lot of us are former military, Vietnam vets. And we do not trust politicians one damn bit, including George Bush. Yea, he's a much better commander in chief than Bill Clinton or Jimmy Charter or [spit] LBJ. So yea, I might vote for him again, might we'll see. But I am getting fed up with the politicians and the judges and just about everyone in DC mucking with our constitution. Republicans are as bad or worst than the Rats at ignoring the Constitution. So you are just going to have to get used to me complaining cause everytime the elites pull a fast one on us, we the people I intend to protest loudly and publicly.

Don Joe, I'm reading your pearls of wisdom and thinking, "hey, wait a minute. That's me talking."

Eerie. It's rare that I ever agree with somebody so entirely!

Great quote from my favourite "Trotskyite, currently known as Neo-Con" Mr. Tex!

About says it all, doesn't it?

So, did you make the leap and join a third party like me (Conservatives)?

For whatever reason, the "G"OP seems to have made the decision to throw this election. I'm guessing that they're probably thinking that if they can get a democrat in this time around, it'll screw up Hillary's plans for '08. In any event, it's a clear and resounding F*** YOU to "the base" that put this schmuck in office.

Great response, my friend.

But I urge you to give up all hope on the GOP. They're far, far beyond recall.

At the top they're identical to the DemonRats. They're the same people.

That's the point. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum - one dupes the left, the other the right, and they all wind up scrod by the Trotskyite neo-cons who run the world.

LEAVE THE GOP.

I'm still in the "reeling in shock" phase. I'll probably still vote "R" for state-level (and Congress), but I'm not planning on voting for President this time around. I may write-in Tancredo, or the Constitution Party candidate. I'm undecided. I'm leaning toward just sitting on my vote. My reasoning is that any of those choices are obviously "send a message", and I think that seeing the number of votes for President tally up to a lower number of votes than the total number of ballots will send an unmistakable message.

Beyond that, I still haven't given it a lot of thought. I don't even know if there is a Conservative Party in MI. I know there was one in NY, when I lived there. I recall them generally "sharing" candidates (i.e., they'd endorse the "R" candidate, so one candidate would run under multiple party affilitations). I'm presuming the Constitution Party has a presence here, but I don't know all that much about 'em. I've been a "broken glass Republican" for decades, and I've got a lotta glass to pull out of my knees.

PS: thanks for the kind words.

I almost agree with that.

However, it seems to me that the point isn't to get a Democrat into office versus Republican.

That's because they're the same people at the top. They're the same party. We live in a one-party state.

That's the message we need to hammer home.

THERE IS ONLY ONE PARTY. AMERICA IS A ONE PARTY STATE.

It's the party of the handful of extremely wealthy CEO's and other corporate bureaucrats, media kings, hollywood stars, and so on who fund both parties. You dance with them that brung ya, as they say in Texas.

I mean, how in the world can anybody behold the election of Ah-nold who is married to a FREEKING KENNEDY and got campaign advice directly from FREEKING UNCLE TED and continue to entertain the thought that there are two parties?

That's why we get the same policies that WSJ Op-Ed page dictate regardless of what political dummy's in office.

There's only one party, friends. That's why Rove can spit in our face. We don't count, because it matters little to the elites who pay him whether a DemonRat or a Pubbie is in office, because they're just front men and mouthpieces for the big, powerful interests that really control the federal government.

They don't care because they don't have to. They're a monopoly. They don't like to talk about being a monopoly, but like the old Ma Bell they are.

We need to break up that monopoly. I don't think there's much time left.

I agree. But, it's like major league sports. One league, different teams. They still like to see their team win the big one, even if they have to throw a game here and there to get where they're going. It's a game to 'em. No matter who you vote for, the politicians always win, but, they like to have their politicians win. To us, it makes no real difference -- they both screw us. But to them, they like to be the ones doing the screwing.

Izzat sufficiently cynical or what? :)

There are a lot of good people in the GOP, particularly at the state and local level. What happens is that the GOP was flooded with opportunists Dems after the 94 election. Our governor Rick Perry being a prime example. He's got an R by his name but he is really a D.

I almost gave up on the Republicans after they left Newt out to dry over BS ethics charges. That little episode did open my eyes to what scum the GOP leadership really is. Finally, the GOP had a leader that would lead and fight for our Republic and the GOP dumped him.

My feeling is that we need to teach the GOP another lesson, like the one administered in 88, yea we got Bill Clinton as a result but we also got control of congress resulting in gridlock. Gridlock is far better then a socialist GOP, which is what we have now. So I will watch and wait and then make up my mind. Everything is on the table as far as I am concerned, even voting Dem at the top in hopes of grid lock.

You are full of vemon for those who should be your political allies. When you treat friends like enemies, you lose them - then you have no power. The 'Neo-cons' have been the reason welfare reform happened! So why call them marxists when they are anti-marxists??!? (David Horowitz comes to mind). That comment is unfounded hogwash.

Try to be less naive and more grownup: If you want conservativism to win, you have to think and act strategically to win this fight. Quit insulting and demeaning those who are your allies on so many things.

Tell me, what Republicans have you voted for to Federal office lately? In case you hadnt figured it out - if you are such an extremist who doesnt vote for them even though they do many conservative things, of course they will go and pander to other voting blocs.

Stupid voting tricks (voting 3rd party) will get you another Clinton, fer sure.

The smart thing to do is to work at making the Republican Party (a) a conservative party and (b) the winning party. That is how Conservatism will win in America.
Part (a) is a matter of opposing any and all RINO policies through political activism. For example, in this NEA case, writing to the Congress, President and letters to the editor. Part (b) is simply making sure we defeat liberal Democrats. After a while they will learn to be more moderate or to come to Republican perspective. JMHO

Now down to business. You want Bush defeated. In that area you are in the same camp as the liberals. You are, by definition, a member of the opposition.

Dittos. Well said. I want Conservative Judges, not ACLU Judges in our Federal courts. ANyone against Bush in this election is for ACLU Liberal extremist activism in the courts - because that is what Kennedy clone Kerry will nominate!

Wake up Conservatives and stop being your own worst enemy! Just because Bush isnt 100% conservative doesnt make him even remotely as bad as the Democrat alternative.
