i was honestly testing offline comments in freepmail from Myrddin.

Myrddin was right though. I was spooked cause I didn't realize something that Myrddin said was true. Myrddin went the extra mile though to substantiate.



I was on a thread that lent a heads up to falcons being brought into the USA. I have even done off of this board work on it from an independent contract of my business (independent of the Net).

These two are connected. So I personally think it is a REAL concern.

HONG KONG, Jan. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- Hong Kong Agriculture, Fisheriesand Conservation Department (AFCD) found H5N1 virus in a dead Peregrine Falcon on Wednesday and has stepped up monitoring of biosecurity measures at chicken farms and surveillance of wild birds.

AFCD's Assistant Director Lai Ching-wai said that, the presence of H5N1 virus in the Peregrine Falcon poses no immediate threat to public health. The measures taken are aimed to prevent any outbreak of avian influenza in chickens.

I remember that portion of the first thread. Jihad Falcon, the area codes, etc. But now I'm lost. Are you relating this to the possible connection of the asian bird flu with falcons? These two are connected. So I personally think it is a REAL concern

The bird virus being shed would be dependent upon radiation or something that would cause immunosuppression to a certain degree...and that degree might only be anti inflammatory not even mild radiation sickness. It's a second punch so to speak. Just like the SARs shedding at a higher rate under administration of aspirin or in the renal patients.
