I did a lot of research on that thread, and it led me to more.
You would be surprised just how many candidates have foreign money in their campaign funds. Most of it is laundered through some intermediate organization before it is submitted. Both Republicans and Dems.

And of course politicians who receive large contributions from donors, either foreign or domestic, would NEVER dream of voting for the platforms those donors represent - would they?/sarcasm
