Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that Your hand of protection continues to cover our beloved country. Thank You for the vigilance that has kept our elected officials and staff from possible harm. Give wisdom and haste to those now entrusted with testing, that the identify of the substance may be quickly known, as well as the source. Let no harm filter through our nation's capitol ... let no harm befall anywhere, for we covet the safety and protection of all our citizens.

Continue to press other nations that they expend all in their efforts to thwart every plan of the enemy, for the enemy seeks the weakest point to release its venom upon the innocent. Turn the eyes of the people to the real conflict that rages ... turn our thoughts and our prayers to the Throne of Grace, for the battle is spiritual ... "be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God, and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6
