re:759

I wasn't a FReeper (addict) then so missed lots of important info.

I have noticed that it appears that a lot of the heads of the computer departments at the colleges, seem to get arrested for being terrorists or supporting them.

Piper wanted to know how many students were muslim, I didn't get far with that one (went to bed).

Oregon colleges showed 3,414 foreign students.

I did a simple search at Google for:

how many muslims are students in u.s. colleges, universities and schools

It's a myth that the jihadis are uneducated; perhaps the taliban footsoldiers, but the ideologues and organizers are often very educated, especially in the technical sciences.

Atta was a talented civil engineering student.

Just like the leading lights of the Communists were often the middleclass, the affluent, the "bourgeoisie", many jihadi luminaries are technocrats by training, and many come from backgrounds that are far from impoverished.

---SNIp
9. What is new about jihadi terrorism is the gravitation of a number of students of science or working scientists to the jihadi organizations to help the terrorists in their jihad. While the students of science came to the jihadi organizations from many Islamic countries of the world, working scientists came mainly from Pakistan

I don't think this would be any of the missing minutes of the AQ tape, since this was originally reported Nov. 2002. But, I could be wrong, they could have put something of this nature in the tape. Why wouldn't Al Jerize (sp?) release the entire tape? Didn't AQ threaten to do something to them if they didn't release it in its entirety?

Thanks to both of you. I have not read snopes.com very much so wasn't aware of their liberal bias. I should have known. Liberal bias is like a disease, liberal virus.

Thanks for the ping to the new thread Piper and I happen to agree with your post very much.

Mossad thanks for starting a second thread for us, it was getting hard to keep up with everything on the other one.

That is despicable! I supposed in the Hamas culture that is considered a "family portrait".

Happy, Happy, Kill, Kill!

In this undated but recent image released on Monday, January 26, 2004, by the Hamas group in the Gaza Strip showing female suicide bomber Reem Raiyshi, pose with weapons with one of her children. Raiyshi blew herself up at the major border crossing point between Israel and the Gaza Strip on January 14, 2004, killing herself and four Israelis.

Now I'm sorry but where in the heck is Child Protective Services? This is child abuse. Don't they have CPS in the middle east?

Can you imagine having a weapon like that near a child that size? At that age (what 3? 4 at the most?) even the best behaved kid can get hyper and try and grab hold of things.

This is just plain wrong. Some people have no business having children. I'll shut up before I offend someone if I haven't already.

Not necessaryily so Oorang. I forgot who the interviewer was, but I believe it is MSNBC that runs a special that they did on Palestinian suicide bombers. One of the surviving family members of one stated that they are forced to appear that they are proud that the bomber gave their lives. They are not permitted to cry or show remorse. I don't believe that it is the Hamas members that are blowing themselves up and everythine and everyone around them. It is the brainwashed, the hopeless, the forced that are the sacrificial sheep.

It isn't the weapon that's the problem.
It's the whack job holding the weapon that's the problem.
You are being sarcastic, aren't you?

Yes, that just shows us how easily they had/has infilitrated our country.

swarthyguy do you remember the nationwide FBI raids on the Pakistani jewelry kiosks in the malls.

I am still waiting for them to get all the little neighborhood convenience stores. Herd um up, move um out.

Assessing the threat: I am absolutely convinced that a large percentage of Muslims want us dead, destroyed etc

Actually I don't think that's the mainstream Muslim view ... at least not at this time. However it does appear to be the view of a significant minority - say perhaps 20 or 30%. But yikes! Out of 1 billion adherents that's still 200 million of them who have gone off the deep end.

Hitler never had that many in his SA and SS apparatus - most of the Germans at the time might not have been enthusiastic supporters of his more extreme policies (the full extent of which wasn't widely broadcast), but his fanatical followers saw to it that the rest of the country stayed in line.

The danger is that if the radical elements get control the world will have a real mess on their hands.
