That is probably because Traveller -- unlike daleel and EOM -- would probably not have anything specific to say since he is not nor never claimed to be al qaeda. Traveller just posts to offer what he believes to be the mindset of the terrorists and their supporters; he is probably a supporter because he dislikes the West. When we monitor the Arabic forums, we really do not expect dates and times of attacks explicitly; we do hope to break their codes to see if a day and date may be there though. We also follow their messages because it helps us understand their mindsets.

The most important thing about Traveller, stupid_guy and most other Muslim posters at IH -- since the real evil Muslims found out they were duped and al neda was hijacked by IH -- is that they never claimed to be active members of al qaeda, knowing details and stuff like EOM and daleel claim to know.

In fact, Traveller mostly posts his disrespect for USA policies; other Muslim posters translate messages; while others predict types of attacks within the U.S. and have so far been wrong, wtong, wrong. No one currently posting there now claims to be al qaeda; except maybe for new members like daleel and EOM!

So, the value of the al neda forum is the hard work the hunters do while scouring the entire Internet looking at the messages posted on all the Arabic websites written in Arabic and then translating them and posting them for everyone to see.

JustPiper, Calpernia, Revel and so many others here -- that I won't name because it is a long list -- are on the mark, I think, when they made comments that basically could be construed to mean that they felt it would be unusual for al qaeda to post dates and times in advance; yes, al qaeda definitely warns of coming attacks in general, as usama bin laden warned the U.S. back in 1998; but so far they have not overtly posted dates and times as a brag or warning to us so publicly like EOM and daleel have done.

So, even though nothing will probably happen tonight or tomorrow as far as the countdown clock, I will still remain awake, because who really knows for certain and it is interesting.

Thanks Piper! As you can see, I'm always pages behind on this thread, but I've been trying to keep up a little at work yesterday and today, due to the timing of the countdown clock and all that...

In addition to all the other "signs" pointing to today, today is a Tuesday, and so many of Al Qaeda's strikes have been on Tuesdays... so it was not easy to focus on work today!

When I saw the story I was very worried so called my sister.

I knew she worked there and was hoping she wasn't one of the quarentined. She wasn't and is fine.

She had not heard of anything happening because she works at the Health Annex, not the hospital proper.

So, she called the hospital to see what was up, did she need to take any precautions at work tomorrow.

They responded that they didn't know what she was talking about, nothing like that happened here today, where did you hear that?

So I sent her the links to these stories and am waiting on her return call.

Just comes natural to me to be supicious I guess. As I grew up I always had this sense that we were loosing the things that made life worth dreaming about.

I think I just missed being hopelessly brain washed in school.
To me it seem like I would learn American history and the way that it worked and then go home and watch it all change.

Yes...I was reading the eairler posts by that person and did not put it together with spoofy's post. It is because of the rather interesting choice of letter sizes over at IH I guess.

A British teenager has narrowly escaped jail after sparking a nuclear panic by hacking into a top secret United States weapons laboratory.

Joseph McElroy, 18, who on Monday was ordered to serve a 200-hour community punishment order, bypassed the facility's electronic security systems with sophisticated software he had developed and nicknamed Deathserv.

McElroy wanted to use the advanced network's power to download and store films and music from the internet.

London's Southwark Crown Court heard that in June 2002, he used a special password to protect his collection and cover up his "parasitic" invasion.

But so many of his fellow hackers also accessed the system at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Illinois that it began to slow down. Technicians discovered the breach and "pressed the panic button". Fearing a terrorist attack, the computer was closed down for three days and the US Department of Energy sounded a full-scale alert.

Officers at Scotland Yard's computer crimes unit were contacted and quickly traced the then-16-year-old student to his east London home.
