Kruschev wasn't a moslem, I've never heard that in relation to him. He was just an old-school Russian.

But maybe it's also a custom in whatever part of Russia he came from.

Does anyone besides me think these may be diversions from some "real" attack? Yesterday's EOM message said something to the effect of while Amerikkka sleeps or while we're focusing on one thing, the attack will happen and it will be too late to do anything about it.

The Commander of the Faithful and Supreme Taliban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar has issued an Eid message in which he said that until the country is free from the crusader army of Americans and the hypocritical regime of Hamid Karzai, the Jihad will continue.

In the message written in Pashtu and faxed from Taliban spokesman Hamid Agh, Omar said that inshallah (God willing), America would dissolve and break up in many pieces just as Soviet Union did after Afghan Jihad. The message was directed at all Muslims and especially the Muslim brothers imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay and their families. He said that the sacrifices of the imprisoned Muslims will not go to waste and that Allah will reward them in this world and in the hereafter.

Omar said that after two years of occupation, the promises of the hypocrites had not been realized and the pledge to end feudal violence was a sham and that warlords still rule the nation like princes. He went on to say that the Loya Jirga’s and other conferences were just to tools used to fool Afghans into thinking that the occupation was interested in the implementation of government that was sincere to the public of Afghanistan and serious about safeguarding the Islamic heritage of the country. In reality, Omar said, that the Afghan public has lost the Islamic government they had established for many centuries and were now victims of bombings, insecurity, immorality and vise.

Mullah Omar ended his message with a pledge that by the will of Allah, America will be dispersed from the Muslim lands and said the cure for American hegemony will come from the hands of the Muslims.

U.S. General Optimistic About Bin Laden Capture

KABUL (Reuters) - The U.S. military's top general in Afghanistan expressed optimism Tuesday that al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and Taliban chief Mullah Mohammed Omar would be captured this year.

At a ceremony marking the shift of the U.S. headquarters in Afghanistan to Kabul, Lt. Gen. David Barno gave the most optimistic assessment yet by a U.S. commander on prospects for capturing bin Laden, the world's most wanted man.

"Their day has ended and this year will decisively sound the death knell of their movements in Afghanistan," Barno said.

"We are clearly focused on the leadership," he added at a news conference later. "This is important year, Afghanistan is coming out of a long difficult period, and I think this is going to be very, very critical year for us here."

Asked whether he was optimistic about capturing bin Laden, Omar and allied militant leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar this year, he said moving the headquarters to Kabul from Bagram air base to the north of the capital would help coordinate intelligence work.

"So I am optimistic," he said.

The whereabouts of bin Laden and Mullah Omar have remained a mystery since U.S-led troops toppled the Taliban regime in 2001 for harboring the al Qaeda network blamed for the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States.

U.S. and Afghan officials have said that the men are thought to be hiding out in the mountains of the rugged tribal belt between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Barno's comments came ahead of presidential elections in Afghanistan due to be held in June as well as President Bush's bid for re-election in November.

He said the aim was to hold Afghan elections on time, despite warnings from the United Nations and aid agencies that the process will be hampered by militant violence or hijacked by powerful regional leaders in President Hamid Karzai's U.S.-backed government.

The period since August has been the bloodiest in Afghanistan since the Taliban's fall, with more than 500 people killed in clashes around the country.

Barno said the 12,000-strong U.S.-led force in Afghanistan would confine its activities to Afghanistan, while the Pakistani army would pursue the same objectives on its side of the border.

I had thought about that too. However, Walmart seems to be the only one making a profit and driving manufacturers overseas. I think they're communists:
1. manufacturers sell goods in the stores for very little profit, if any, and are forced to go out of business or move overseas, thus ruining entire towns leaving many to rely on government subsidies where they can only afford to shop at walmart.
2. They eliminate competition and jobs, so there really is no free market.

I think they are part of the plan for the destruction of America.

Fully expected him to find a way to stay in, declare a war or such.

hilary is so evil that there will be no way to survive her, she will have the UN troops in here so fast that you won't even know they are arriving.

I fear that half or more the U.S., will welcome the "New World Order".
