more of the clinton legacy, somali AQ sympathizers all over the US.

hard to imagine how this person could be linked to the december threat level bump, but the fact that he owns a cell phone business leads me to believe he is maybe linked to providing communications needs to domestic cell members. I wonder why they moved on him now?

I'm here....not caught up on this thread at all. In a chat.

Question and help.

There was a story that showed up here on FR. About a business (I think it was located in TX) that had a independent contract job at the WTC. I *think* it was some electrical job. Can't remember. BEFORE 9/11. Like a few days or weeks (not much...within a week) of 9/11.

They were investigated for terror related connections. I can't find the story. I saw it here at FR.

Anyone remember?

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that the airlines of the nations are at work in an attempt to thwart any plan of attack ... may they be successful, O God ... let no harm come to this country, or any other, for we seek Your hand of protection. Thank You that You lead in this battle that is spiritual, for there are those who would have hearts enslaved to evil, but You would have hearts turned to the redeeming love of Christ. We thank You, O God, for the victory that is ours through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen ...

"Man held in Detroit as terrorism suspect"

"Somali immigrant is in high-security case"

January 31, 2004

BY TAMARA AUDI
FREE PRESS STAFF WRITER

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Federal authorities are detaining a Somali immigrant who is suspected of plotting to carry out a terrorist attack during the recent holiday season, officials confirmed this week.

The man appeared Wednesday at a closed hearing marked by extraordinary security in Detroit's federal immigration court.

He was arrested in early December at his home in Columbus, Ohio, and was a factor in the government's decision to raise the national alert level to orange, or high, that month, said the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they are barred from discussing cases involving high national security issues."
