Good one!!!!

This gave me a chance to say "SEE?" to my wife, who up till now thinks I am "cracked" just a bit on all this. Haha, I said the same thing to my girlfriend this evening after hearing the renewed threat info on CNN. She thinks i'm more than "cracked" on the issue. :)

Thanks, MNC. That actually (in an odd way) makes me feel better. (Seeing that they DID do this somewhat recently, and not just for the first time since 1982).

Got me why it would be different. The time thing might account for a day, but 4 days ?

If these threats are genuine, something must happen. However, if something doesn't, I don't think credibility would be lost. This is like being forced to keep a mean dog in your yard -- it might not do anything, but....
The islamic ranting and raving could also be psy-ops on their part in an effort to wear us down to catch us off guard in the future. Everything we do here is speculation -- educated speculation -- but we're just guessing nonetheless.
There are only a small handful of people who actually know what is going to happen...unfortunately, we are at war with them.
We must use patience and preparation as weapons against them.

(So, can we assume that a job that an illegal alien won't do must be REALLY bad?....)

well it is almost there. Almost a half hour late. But if something where going to happen with that plane then it would be very soon.

Exactly!

Good points.

I havent heard the sounds of fighters come over my house. They usually swing out over my neck of the woods when they are on Combat Air Patrol or whatnot over DC.
However, my children are pretty active right now, and I may have missed it..

Somebody on that thread you linked mentioned a NPR report that Iran was dissolving its parliament this weekend. Did anyone hear or read this?
To: Mossad1967
AGREED! That is what has me worried about the Feb 1 - 4 dates.
If they don't do something major, their credibility is TOTALLY shot (not that they had a lot to begin with).
The use of dates this time around is a fair concern, as we haven't seen that before - and their use is puzzling/concerning.
Of course, we will probably all be here and much relieved on 2/5.

anybody else think that the threat level going up in December then going down was just for financial reasons and that they planned all alon to have it raised agin by this weekend, knowing the threat was going to mainly be Christmas, New Year's and the Eid?

Guys, we're watching the news breaks here at the Ops Center - or we would, if the ice hadn't taken the cable out.
I'm blind for cable, temporarily. What's the networks telling you?
Stay sharp.

And that clock was yanked out of the google cache too.

I can imagine several, if not tens or hundreds of isolated attacks -- homicide bombers, bridges, churches, schools, etc.
I like to think that a thermonuclear yield is still beyond their reach and the best they could do is a dirty bomb, but that GD open border on the north and south of us just gives me the willies. I fail to see how anything our DHS is doing can prevent smuggling at the borders.
I worry about the "sub-contractor" end, also. I don't want to sound derogatory, but I feel that is what the case was with OKC.
Smashing through a fence at a chem plant seems very feasible. Unless there is a moat around it, what would keep someone from charging thru? A few guards?
I think something is up, and we're not being told. I don't blame "them" for not telling us, but on the same hand, we have a right to find out on our own, if we so chose.

lightID: BAW225 (Commercial, Jet)
Status: Data TIMED OUT from the FAA on the 31st at 0243Z. (What does this mean?)
Company: BRITISH AIRWAYS
Why do flights TIMEOUT?
All of the data on flights comes to fboweb.com from the FAA in the form of messages. There is a message for when a flight files a flight plan, when it activates a flight plan (departs), a message for a position report for the flight, an arrival message, and so-on.
Position updates for each flight are sent once per minute.
In some cases, when a plane reaches its destination, an "arrival" message is never sent - we are told that this is because there is human involvement in the sending of this message, and in some cases this message is simply never transmitted over the data feed.
In other cases, a flight may pass outside of US airpspace. When this happens, position messages simply stop coming. As a result, fboweb.com will "TIME OUT" a flight, rather than show it still, inaccurately, floating around in the same space.
This process is common among flight-tracking service providers, and is the best solution to an imperfect process.

Sarge, believe it or not, they are not very active on this story.
The breaking wires of the AP concentrate on Kerry, Deaths in Iraq, and nonsense so far.
There is a report of a plane that emergency landed in Houston that had a foul odor onboard, just breaking.
