I find myself repeating a ritual I used to do many years ago, when I was in the service and facing something unknown. Soldiers have done so since the beginning, and it is a fitting time now to do so as our people work to disrupt this plot.

My brother and I were working on a car in his garage a few years back.

A pigeon flew in and landed on top of the toolbox.

It was very tame. It would perch on our fingertips and let us feed it by hand.

It's legs were covered with tags, barcodes, sealed containers, etc.

Anyways, it hung out for a few days and took off.

I know. But I found it interesting that someone said they downloaded the original and it reads different. When it was originaly linked at FR is seemed to indicate the experation that we have come to expect of midnight of the 3rd.

CNN just reported that there is new intelligence in involving foreign flights. That's all I got for now. Thought the timing was interesting.

On the local CBS radio station here, they mentioned the same..and had a guy on commenting on how it's the "Feast of Sacrifice" the same day as the Superbowl. He sounded..a bit concerned.

This gave me a chance to say "SEE?" to my wife, who up till now thinks I am "cracked" just a bit on all this.

If this is starting to come on local radio and not just here in the "breaking news" of FR..well, that says something!

That's the one I recall too. I've been scratching my head over the others so I'm glad you posted this. I remember thinking if it's 3AM 2/1 here what time is it there...or is this on their time?

Yep..that phrase was used in the "final warning" that was "final" for about the past 2 months.

Something about the led wire in the fire..I always thought they were referring to the led countdown clock on a nuclear device, with the wires running into the detonator. (Not that I know how a nuke is constructed, but I'd imagine there is a timer capability..or, maybe I've just watched too many movies!)
