Prayer Request for Freeper's Son

I just got the news that my precious son's (age 4) blood tests are back. He has Alpha 1 and the numbers on his liver enzymes are shooting up again.

His alkalines have almost doubles, as have ALT and AST. In short, it's not real good. Our wonderful doctor wants to check again in 3 months, but thinks we'll be headed back to Vandy for more aggressive treatment.

Please pray for his health & healing if it is God's will. Also, please pray for us as we cope. I will most certainly give God the glory and ya'll my heartfelt thanks.

I'm going to have a bit of a cry now. He begged to go to Granny's for a few hours and I just couldn't say no.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for this family of believers. Thank You that we gather strength in the beauty of Your presence, and in prayer, one for another. Look with tenderness upon this child, O God, just as You did at his birth. Thank You that You have nurtured and sustained him ... continue to do so as tests reveal need for aggressive treatment. Guide Kimmie and her husband in their decisions, I pray, even as we gather around this child and pray that Your healing hand would be upon him and that You would take away all need for treatment.

We praise You that You are the Great Physician ... we praise You that we are fearfully and wonderfully made ... we praise You that have given Kim and her husband this beautiful boy. Walk with them through this troubled time ... take note of their tears ... ease their hearts and minds. Dear Heavenly Father, please put your healing hand on Kimmie's little boy. Please heal him, Lord, if it's your will. Lord, he's just a baby and he's SO loved by his family.
