Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan told a small group of reporters afterward that he saw "nothing good right now" in postwar Iraq as a result of the U.S.-led intervention. "Administration officials said the atmosphere in Davos was much warmer than last year, when the United States was on the brink of invading Iraq and Secretary of State Colin L. Powell was met with a barrage of complaints. But the reaction to Cheney's 58-minute appearance was tepid. The audience withheld applause during the speech and then clapped for hostile questions about the U.S. government's handling of Arab visitors and its treatment of military detainees at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba."
A lot of work to be done.

he must be on Dean's election staff.
iraqis are buying cars so fast, they can't open enough gas stations to supply them. satellite dishes are also hot. and I am sure if there was any mass starvation in iraq, the media would be all over it.

We didn't let the Turks have their way with the Kurds or allow them to take Iraqi land. Sore losers.

The UN cut and run and yet the dems would have them decide what we should do when they can't act for years to enforce their own resolutions or the cease fire Saddam signed and broke over and over.Saddam was better for the Iraqis?

Power of the mighty pen. Our
free (thanks to our troops past and present)
press reporters are ignoring the mass graves, and the free Iraqi victims of Saddam Hussein ~ and our troops ~ even now.
This is going to be an ugly election year.
Same old....
