Post the Zogby polls. If he shows Dean close, he's the only one. FOXNEWS, Rasmussen, and American Research have Kerry up by as much as 18 points.

"Kerry's lead is now nine points over three days, however he led only by 26 percent-22 percent over Dean in Friday polling alone, while Edwards and Lieberman each hit 10 percent," pollster John Zogby said.

I am rooting for Dean now just because it seems like he was being unfairly maligned over that stupid "YEAH!" speech. I can think of maybe a 100 reasons why Dean shouldn't be president, and "YEAH!" might be #99 on that list...

What a goofy lookin' dude! Really, he looks like he's totally, completely clueless! My worst nightmare is seeing his clown face on inauguration day, giving his acceptance speech.

I think I'm getting about "polled-out", and we've got 9 months until the election!

The word on the street is the Clintons want Clark. Why would they be helping Dean wear the hat as "comeback kid"?

Who says they want Clark? All we know for certain is that Hillary encouraged Clark to run, but she made it clear that she would not endorse him unless he was selected as the primary candidate. The idea that the Clintons are backing Clark has absolutely no substantiation, except for the initial encouragement. And while I would be willing to believe that the Clintons put Clark in there as a puppet candidate, Hillary may have other ideas. She might be trying to divide the Democratic Party so that she can step up to save it or else weaken it enough to ensure an '04 loss.

Bottom line, we don't know what the Clintons are after, but given their death grip on the Democratic Party, I could believe that they have orchestrated its downfall this year from the get-go.

I want to know how much longer the media is going to consider Wes Clark a viable candidate?

They can abort right up to the ninth month, so I'm thinking he has till the end of June.

The Clintons want a convention in which they are the kingmakers...
Or, QUEEN-makers, as it were...

Don't bet on it. The Democrats don't deserve Dean-- I must admit Dean is the only honest choice for the rats, but they are dishonest.

Kerry is a joke-- an antiwar guy that voted for the war.

The General is incoherent.

And Edwards is just a pretty powder puff without principles.

That means that Kerry could be at 30%, and Dean at 15%.

That one candidate is at the edge of the margin of error has 5% probability. It's possible, but not very likely.

That two candidates are at the edge of their margins of error has a much lower probability than that. I don't know how to calculate this probability (you can't just square 5%, because the fact that one of the candidates is much higher or lower than he should be means that any other candidate should move in the opposite direction, but it's very unlikely one single candidate should move by the whole difference.) But since it is much lower than 5%, and I would also guess lower than 1%, in statistics it would ordinarily be discounted.

I want to know how much longer the media is going to consider Wes Clark a viable candidate?

It is a fact. As long as the nomination is in doubt the ratings for the cable Channels (FOX, CNN, CNNfn, CNN headlines. CNBC, and MSNBC) will be higher.

They could make real bucks if the democratic convention was a brokered convention. The main networks are not going to cover it, but a brokered convention could draw 7 to 10 million viewers to cable. And if the nominee is not decided unitil the convention all the cable news channels will have 6 more months of elevated ratings.

So when it looks like a Dean win they take him down. When it looks like a Kerry win they build Dean back up. Look at the video in the last 2 days... Fantastic for Dean.

As long as the media can keep it a 4 person race in the north with Sharpton making it a 5 person race in the south, there is no way there can be a winner.

No winner...equals big ratings.

Lets say that CNN decides that a race is bad for Democrats and good for Bush, so they decide to take Clark out.. CNN trashed Clark and Fox makes him look good. OH OH!.. there will be angery liberals at CNN. Couldn't have that could they.

Fox is in the drivers seat as the number one cable channel. If Fox tries to make the race last as long as possible it will last a long time. If the race stays with 4 contestants no one of them can win the nomination.

If no one wins the nomination the ratings stay improved until the convention and a brokered convention would drive all the cable channels ratings up.

The cable channels have many reasons for attacking who ever is in the lead...and building up who ever is on the bottom... and keeping this race going until the convention.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

I tuned into Hannity the other day, he was waxing about some dirt he dug up on Kerry while was researching his new book. He said he was going to save it to release closer to the book release date.

Wonder what it is?

Newsweek has Kerry at 30%, Edwards at 13% and Dean and Clark at 12% even. The other poll says 52% of folks asked do not want Bush reelected with 44% saying they do....does anyone else come up with this and how accurate is Newsweek???? The last time I looked it was totally pushing left voters . Remember who Zogby is..and how he askes his poll questions/

The only thing we can be assured of today is the Clinton's are pulling the strings.

This is just a kabuki dance.

"...and we're gonna take Belknap County and then we're gonna take Carroll County and then we'll conquer Cheshire County and after that we're gonna head into Coos County and when we're done there we're going to invade Grafton County and shove our will down the throats of the people in Hillsborough County and the next thing we'll do is swarm all over Merrimack County and Rockingham County and when we've left those places destitute, we'll tank roll into Strafford County and Sullivan County!! Seig Heil! Seig Heil!!"
